President Biden denied that his family received more than $1 million in payments from accounts related to Hunter Biden’s business associate Rob Walker and their Chinese business ventures in 2017, even though financial records indicate otherwise.
On Thursday, GOP lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee revealed that they had obtained bank documents showing that Hunter Biden, the president's brother Jim, and Hallie Biden, the widow of his son Beau, received payments from Hunter's business associate Rob Walker and their joint venture with Chinese energy firm CEFC. A spokesperson for Hunter Biden's legal team confirmed the payments Thursday but emphasized that the recipients' accounts "belonged to Hunter, his uncle and Hallie – nobody else."
However, Biden denied that the payments were made when confronted by a reporter on the White House lawn Friday.
"That's not true," the president said, when asked about the GOP lawmakers' findings.

My tax-babe and my coin dealer see something in me and like me and treat me with he utmost respect. I was kind of pondering that myself after seeing Christa Friday. Last year, she was concerned about nurse McMurphy "taking advantage of me." Nothing could've been farther from the truth, but I didn't want to tell her about Murph dying shortly after she got home a month or so ago. Christa didn't need to see me cry two years in a row. Last year was Daria.
Christa asked me if I'd done anything fun since last year. My life's pretty boring between the terror. My mom used to say, "If you can get over the dog, you can get over the tail." Murph's death was the biggest tail I've ever encountered. I'm still pretty teary-eyed about that.

The distraction is going to be the arrest of Donald Trump. They are likely going to Epstein Trump if they take him into custody. Even though they are weaponizing the court to do whatever they the deep state wants, half of this country is screaming to kill him. Kathy Griffin had that photo of herself with a phony Trump head covered in blood. That’s not a joke, that’s what they plan to do. She’s just the messenger.
I honestly think that if they do take Trump into custody, the march on Washington that follows, will not be the script that the deep state thinks will play out. It will actually be, an insurrection.
