Yeah, I need some low IQ lesbian teaching me about how to heat my house and drive my car.
My highest (vent-free gas fireplace) heat bill was <$50/mo this winter, in NE IN. It would be >$250/mo on electric (which I also have installed) which they can shut off from outer space with the smart meter they forced me to let be put in under threat of shut-off or jail.

I remember when I was getting my pilot's license. It was an amazing feeling when I "got it".
The FAA examiner told Larry the FBO at 07C (Auburn, IN) that I was the "best stick and rudder man" to ever come out of there.
I had a hard time on instruments (under the hood) with an instructor in the aircraft. I came back from a solo flight and told Thrush, "I've got it now."
"Dear God, Pacman, please tell me you weren't up there flying solo under the hood in my airplane."
"OK, Larry."
The trick for me was reading the instruments like the Vernier scale on a micrometer or calipers. It was gravy from there.

(Edit) My first "official" passenger as pilot-in-command was my mother who had never been in an airplane. I wasn't in control of that C-152, God had such a tight grip on that plane, I'm surprised He didn't pinch off that Hershey Bar wing.

Anyway, He let me me fly Mom around the circle in Angola and fly her over her and Harold's friend's joint in Coldwater, MI.

I nosed the thing back south and two milliseconds later the plane was set down on the ramp in front of the FBO shack, no landing trauma, nothing.
