I haven't followed this, but I did see the show when he made the weird announcement and thought, "That was pretty fucking stupid." I didn't pay a lot of attention to all the falderol going on between Crowder, EweToob and The Daily Wire a few months ago, but Crowder looked like the bad guy back then.

I've got enough drama going on in my life right now that I don't need to be mixed up in his. I think I'm going to have to get my retired Marine lawyer involved. He doesn't fuck around.

I saw that bit where he told his wife he didn’t love her and that more or less was the end of any kind of support that I could muster. When Dave Landau left, and the whole money contract scandal emerged, I decided that it was time to tune out. Glad I did.

(Edit) It's weird that Crowder only has one car. Hell, I even had two until I gave one to my Godson when his van blew up.

I dunno. Not normally one to get in on gossip tabloid debates about personal lives, but the extended vid posted by Owens seems to be long enough to nullify any context/edit type defense by Crowder.

I knew something strange was afoot the first time I saw that guy on the screen pistol-on-the-desk and all.

The chuckle-buddy routine was kinda funny when guys like Don Imus were doing it back when, but seeing it on the local news and weather or with jokers like Crowder is just downright weird.
