Um. No. They’ll stealthfully add it to every computer so it can rat you out the second you start typing something scandalous. Imagine having Big Brother 24/7 in your life unless you are completely tech free.

I'll tell you what I'm seeing and that's a complete usurpation of privacy on the monetary front. I'm having a very difficult time buying crypto. What I'm seeing is exchanges refusing to accept ordinary bank wires. Credit and debit cards are about the only thing available to use at this point, and when receiving a wire, banks want some documentation explaining the reason for transfer.

This is the kind of thing a CBDC will make seamless.
