I know that Trump fired James Comey. I have no idea what level of respect he might have had in that agency.

But maybe they should have taken historical notes about when JFK wanted to fire J. Edgar Hoover.

Hoover kept files on everyone. After he had a meeting with JFK, JFK changed his mind about firing Hoover. ;)
