Interesting choice of music...what does it all mean...I don't know...my mind is spinning
"...Look at the record label above, it reads.
AMERICAN PIE (Part 1)
(D. McLean)
Mayday Music, Inc.
Yahweh Tunes, Inc. BMI
To view a larger image of the record label click on the image above.
From the dictionary;
Yahweh, God: A modern form of the Hebrew name in the Old Testament commonly translated Jehovah.
Mayday, an international call for help
So here on the record label is a claim that American Pie is God's song (Yahweh) and it is about a time of trouble. (Mayday)
American Pie was a very popular song in the early seventies. There are several interpretations of this song and you can find these other opinions on the internet. Roy Taylor talked to Mr. McLean to ask him confirm or deny Taylor's conclusions. But McLean would not comment one way or another. Taylor believes that American Pie is based on the Bible and it's about America. ..."

The Byrds flew off off to a fallout shelther
Eight mile high and falling fast
McLeans time line may have been off, but his sense of doom was perfect.

ultimately...though God knows what it will be like until we reach the light at the end of the seemingly endless tunnel...it may not be doom, but deliverance...if Taylor and others, including moi, who have read between the lines in the Bible similarly but not not always identically, are correct. I guess only time will tell.

I don't believe in a God on a Mighty Throne, handing down rules about when/where it's ok to fuck goats.
Do unto others, though, that seems so right. It's not that hard to understand, but 10,000 years of human history proves otherwise.

I just took down an article that addresses those folks, I think (although those of that race who are in Christ, do not count in this prophecy)...let me pull it back up
(Third part of) George Washington's Vision
"...Again, I heard the mysterious voice saying, "Son of the Republic, look and learn." At this the dark shadowy Angel, placed a trumpet to his mouth, and blew three distinct blasts and Taking water from the ocean, he sprinkled it on Europe, Asia, and Africa. Then my eyes beheld a fearful scene, from each of these continents, arose thick black clouds, that were soon joined into one, and throughout this mass, was a dark red light, by which I saw hordes of armed men.
These men, moving with the cloud, marched by land, and sailed by sea to 'America,' which country was enveloped in the volume of the cloud. And I dimly saw these vast armies devastate the whole country, and burn the villages, towns, and cities which I had seen springing up.
As my ears listened to the thundering of the cannons, clashing of the swords, and the shouts and cries of millions in mortal combat, I again heard the mysterious voice saying, "Son of the Republic, look and learn." As the voice ceased, the shadowy angel for the last time, dipped water from the ocean, and sprinkled it upon America. Instantly the dark cloud rolled back together with the armies it had brought, leaving the inhabitants of the land victorious...."

I have mixed feelings about this purported vision, seeing how George Washington was a serious freemason, but it does seem to tie in with Ezekiel 38-39 ( https://biblehub.com/ezekiel/38-5.htm ), which I believe is another prophecy for America, and it should be apparent to everybody this nation is undergoing an invasion, of 170 nations I heard at one point. Who would have thunk? I didn't know there were that many in the world. Just one of many possible scriptures being fulfilled here:
Zechariah 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
Here's one commentary...
"Pulpit Commentary
Verse 3 - A burdensome stone. Jerusalem shall prove to all the nations that attack it a weight not only too heavy to lift, but one which, itself remaining unhurt, shall wound and injure those who attempt to carry it. Jerome supposes here an allusion to a custom in the towns of Palestine, which prevailed to his day (and, indeed, in Syria even now), of placing round stones of great weight at certain distances, by lifting which the youths tested their bodily strength. But we do not know that this custom existed in Zcehariah's time, and the nations are not gathered together for amusement or display of strength, but for hostile attack. Septuagint, »ί¸¿½ º±Ä±À±Ä¿ύ¼µ½¿½, "a stone trodden down," which reminds one of Luke 21:24, ἹµÁ¿Åñ»ὴ¼ ἔÃı¹ À±Ä¿Å¼έ½· ὑÀὸ ἐ¸½ῶ½. Shall be cut in pieces; i.e. by the sharp edges of the stone, or, as the Revised Version, shall be sore wounded. Though; rather, and; Septuagint, º±ὶ ἐÀ¹ÃŽ±Ç¸ήÿ½Ä±¹: Vulgate, et colligentur. All the people (peoples) of the earth. This indicates that the struggle spoken of is no mere local conflict, waged in Maccabean or other times, but the great battle of the world against the Church, which shall rage in the Messianic era."

I didn't take it that way.
I don't have all the answers. Still reading here there and everywhere. I don't expect I'll have all the answers either before my Lord and Savior rides again, which I don't think will be very long. Just hope I can nudge some of my favorite people toward Him while there's still a little time.

Would love to if I'm able, but hubby should be home soon, and I usually have to remove myself from the slow 'net so he can take his turn. Besides, I've pulled up too many windows and need to weed some out first before I do much more here.

LOL, good answer as the TV slaves used to yell at Richard Dawson.
I feel like I'm corrupting you Christian types sometimes with this crazy shit, but then again why shouldn't I? You can think for yourselves, in my perfect world you would be able to think for yourselves anyway...:)
