Lindy is an Arizona-based senior who has faced the consequences of soaring inflation and rising costs of living as she has adapted to a life on wheels in her 2013 Chevy van.

The senior living in poverty - who has one son who isn't helping her because she is 'too independent' - has shared a look into her life in the car and why she has to work 'in order to survive.'

In an interview with the unnamed host of the YouTube account, The Glorious Life on Wheels, Lindy shared how she couldn't qualify for social security and the detrimental effects living in poverty has had on her.

While it sounds like hippy dippy shit, if everyone wanted to live without having to fucking worry about how the power is going to stay on, or how they are going to get clean water, or grow their own food, or meat, well I could start something pretty amazing.

It would mean that sure, some people would have to do some work like tend a garden or two, or make sure some livestock got fed and cared for, but it would also mean not having to fucking worry about some cop telling them they gotta move their van.

Plus with solar, Starlink, and a well, that can irrigate the land, with a group of like minded people, there could be some community harmony.

A week ago Sunday, SB was here and explained where to get cuttings off my tomato plant and get starts. I did one last Thursday, I think. It's not showing any signs of roots yet, but it's not dead.

I suppose that's something. I put an eyedropper of miracle-gro in the water today to see what happens. Hopefully I can grow one in the house this winter.

The outside plant is petering out. I'm gonna miss those 'maters when it's done.
