The only really cool microcar IMO was the FMT Tg500 Tiger:

About the only thing left is figuring out the dash cams for it and the Tacoma. I've got way too much in getting that Mercedes mechanically sound. I know why they sold it now. I think I've got about $5-5.5k in repairs on top of the $3.5k purchase price. I'm afraid to add it up.
It is kind of a cool little car though. I'm the one who was hellbent on a two-door. LOL.

Eh, what the hell, man? I ain't gonna take it with me. Between me and Rainman and his predilection for talking his step-family into buying turbocharged cars, Chip will be able to open shop 3, and maybe 4.
His step-daughter ran her Hyundai turbo something-or-other low on oil. It took Chip 4 factory turbos before he got one to work. Rainman's rig runs a Cat 3406e (turbo, a real one). Semi tractors and passenger cars are two different animals.
Tomorrow it will be 15K.

Darn straight.
When I worked for Illinois State Highways at Northbrook yard, one time when the Des Plaines River flooded badly, one of the guys was out with the Lead, Lead Worker. they were driving his diesel pick up. The other guy was driving.
They were south of Palatine Rd where River Rd and Milwaukee Ave came together. It was flooded badly. The Lead, Lead told the guy driving to go left. The guy behind the wheel said, "But that's the deep water."
The Lead, Lead told him again to go left. He did and the air horn sucked up water. The diesel got hydro lock. It cost them $10,000 rto put a new engine in the truck.
I do not recall if anyone got written up over that boondoggle. LOL

Rainman's 3406e Cat has an intake about the diameter of a can of Brakleen. I understand volume and volumetric efficiency and all that (I ought to, I have a degree in automotive technology).
I guess my Mercedes Smart came with a turbo (maybe only Europe), but I'd guess that's a total joke. The inlet is probably about the size of a dime. Why bother? I was looking in the engine bay of that thing today, like it's not already tight enough.
