No. From like 1910 to 1930 scads of blax again drank the media kool-aid telling them how bad they had it in Dixie and moved to yankee capitols for mfg jobs. There they encountered horrible winters, soulless social environments and racism like they'd never known it.

The establishment has never ceased hailing this as the most thrilling liberation since the children of Israel escaped Egypt.
