I was enraptured with Cheaper By The Dozen as a boy -- the book and original movie. Made a pact with myself to have 12 bouncing, beautiful kids someday like Frank and Lillian Gilbreth. Now I'm proud to have contributed nothing to our rotten species's gene pool, which will soon go out of business anyway.

Revisiting the book and movie as an adult they weren't so rosy as I'd remembered at all, partly because the authors lovingly lied about a few things. I still love the abstract idea of it though.
