Hitler wanted to send the Jews to Madagascar. But they didn't want to hear this. They wanted to go to Palestine.

This is because of the Balfour Declaration of 1917 wherein Britian promised the Jews a national homeland in Palestine, which at that time had a minority Jewish population. This then brought about the Transfer Agreement. The Jews could go to Palestine but they had to leave their personal wealth behind. Part of this agreement was that they must buy durable goods from Germany. This broke the embargo on German goods when Judea declared war on Germany in 1933. ;)
