That did not count the oil from the Alaska pipeline since all that oil goes to Japan. ;)

When working for Illinois D.O.T. would go into The Texan Real BBQ in Algonquin, Illinois. They had three kinds of BBQ sauce, Mild, Hot and Flammable. The Flammable even had a Haz Mat sticker on it. ;)

I like BBQ and/or Hot Sauce just because I like it. I remember going to Chicago like 30 years ago and that office was having some sort of fratboy contest about who could eat the hottest hot sauce. It sort of pissed me off because I wanted to see who could write the best outbound translator.

Indiana does not have a clean pavement policy. So, in winter once they plow the roads, if you slide off the pavement that one is on you.
I can recall being out on Night Patrol on the state highways when at Northbrook yard. A snow squall blew in off the lake and turned everything white. I called on the radio for help.
Kraus, the Foreman, lived way south in Skokie. He came on the radio, "Where's the snow?" I replied, "It's up north. C'mon up here."
It took me and my back up the rest of the night to clean up the roads. ;)

I recall a political commercial just before Halloween in 2020. The doorbell and the homeowner opens the door to give treats to the kids.
The last kid was wearing a Joe Biden mask. The homeowner said, "You look familiar.' The kid rips off the mask and reveals it is Kamala Harris. She then steals all the candy and runs away.
Biden has screwed us over royally and stopped the border wall in Texas and also the Keystone XL Pipeline. Texas has picked it up at their own expense.
Have you heard the latest? At the Mexican border crossing at San Ysidro, they have captured a member of the MS-13 gang there. He is a top dog and is wanted by the FBI. ;)

He was in trouble with the cops quite a bit and he is the reason I can swear in Arabic. Haven't seen him since I lived in Chicago so no idea if he is dead or alive. ;)

Hotels in Chicago are darn expensive. Even Holiday Inns. I can't imagine the cost at the Palmer House or either of the two Ambassador East or West. I saw that Trump Tower is $400 per night. :-/
