This week's draggin' ass. It feels like Saturday. I hope I can talk Kimmy into coming over after work today.

After his Mom passed away, he went into the nursing home there and contracted pneumonia which ended up killing him. :-/

She'll be going home soon. That's gonna be a rough one.

A mother of a woman who worked for me also got a fast moving intestinal cancer. They operated on her but didn't do a complete job due to it being more widespread than expected and she was dead a few weeks later.

She was a PureBlood. This will be my first non Clot-Shot funeral since my younger sister's in 2018.

Hitler had polyps on his vocal chords when young and was deathly afraid of cancer. Warburg was studying cancer. He was also making speeches against the Nazis. The SS wanted to take him to the camps, but they received a personal call from Hitler telling them, "Allow him to go back to his work."
Warburg was awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine for discovering a cure for cancer. But Hitler refused to allow him to pick it up because of the war.
If he never picked it up, he forfeited and it was awarded to someone else.
But the AMA covered this up. There is no money in a cure, only in treatment.
As always, the Almighty Dollar rules the roost. ;)

Yeah, I have Kimmy again after a 44 year absence. Life IS good, especially on Saturdays when she puts her stethoscope away and doesn't get called in on Sunday.
