If Biden is in hospice, who has got the nuclear football? ;)

Yeah, and of course it was a debacle, as usual.

...and a tad more.

Uh, no.

Why It's Dumb to Buy a Smart Car

(Edit) FWIW: Mine's a 2010 (90k mi). It's not slow. but it's not a spec'd out Challenger either. Plenty fast enough. I joked with Dak about putting wheelie bars on it.

It's not exactly an automatic, it has a five-speed manual gearbox with an automatic clutch/shifter, which is kinda cool. Semi-automatic I guess?

If you have to worry much about gas mileage, you should take the bus, which is what I do when I go to Chip's to pick it up or ride home after I drop it off. The bus stop is 200' from my joint and 100' feet from Chip's shop. $1.25/trip, burns worthless change (money dust).

Chip and his wife love me. I keep them in tons of money. And I buy flowers and booze at Christmas.

Very good safety rating, surprisingly enough.

Roomy inside, big doors. Good for a semi-cripple with a broken back.

I don't need a big truck to prove I have a penis. I have a physician that comes over every weekend to check its function (Dr. Kimmy).

I just wanted a small two-door. I had a deal set up to buy a sweet Scion (Toyota) IQ at a Honda dealer next door to the Denver airport. They thought I was pranking them. The legit wire transfer must have been a dead giveaway.

Everybody gets a laugh when I show up.

When I got the Clown Car back from Chip last week, I was getting a really hard clutch engagement in first gear to the point it would almost stall the car. He might've had to drop the engine to replace the A/C compressor or something. Everything is computer controlled and adaptive. It was smooth as a baby's butt today.

It must take a couple on/off cycles to set things in stone. I'm glad it's cleared up, it was really annoying.

Nah, I've got a Toyota Tacoma work truck too (11k). I had a 1993 GMC Sonoma (59k?) that I gave to Sling Blade when his Astro blew up.

I'm lookin' at a Pinto, but I doubt I could get in it. LOL

Ford Pinto 2025

If I could get in it, they would need to use a can opener to get me out. ;)

I don't know if that's real or not, but I'd end up taped to a backboard again. I'll bet my insurance agent got an unexplained stiffy when I clicked on that though.
