I was reading about a black funeral in Chicago and when the funeral cortege was leaving the M.B. Church a drive by shooting occurred. It must have been gang related. ;)

I used to run the big truck to Birmingham about 15 years ago. I would go down U.S. Highway 78 thru these little towns like Gwin and Guwin. I see they have since built an interstate (I-22) parallel to that route. ;)

Gangs were shooting up funeral burials 20 years ago in Oakland. I was born in Oakland but only lived there one night. I stayed with a friend who was being evicted for non-payment of rent. Nowadays people in California don't pay rent.

I heard about this guy in California that was subletting an apartment. He was wrongfully evicted and his daughter lost her favorite toy. The neighbor was supposed to be evicted. Not sure how such a wrong can be reversed after the damage has been done. :-/
