I think the news cycle is probably dead until the Friday Night News Dump (the news you're not supposed to see).
I should gear up and go to the dollar store and get some Xmas cards then go to Kroger and get Kimmy some flowers and treats for our SHORT weekend (I'm hoping for two days, we'll see).
I need to get to Costco and Gordon's food service, but now that nobody works on Friday anymore they'll be too busy and the traffic will be bad. Maybe early next week.

The mission was a success. While at Kroger, I saw they had taco-size tortilla shells BOGO, so I backtracked and got the rest of the stuff to make tacos at-home. Kimmy's tyrannical taco deprivation on me is OVER! Guess what we're having this weekend?

The flowers weren't great, the ball bounces funny sometimes. The ones I got her on the weekend before the election were awesome, it'll be hard to top those. The taco filling is in the simmer stage. Bring it on, Doc!

Ange is my neighbors wife. Her breast cancer from several years ago has metastasized into her internal organs. She doesn't have long.
They're part of my pseudo-adopted children, along with Sling Blade and the squirt. I don't think their children know yet, they don't want them to grieve all through her last days.
How TF am I ending up being the last man standing? I was used up over a decade ago.
