Is that a reasonable price in your view?
Second do you expect the price to increase in the next year and how much.
Beef is my favorite mean. Then chicken and bacon. On the pig i only eat bacon and ham. The rest doesn't taste real good. Maybe some pulled pork every once in a while if it is seasoned good.

I was paying $3.99/lb for sirloin up until Blackrock culled all that beef about 4 years ago.
Chuck is a great cut of beef but should not be $5.99. I was chatting with a housewife at Hannaford recently about an average size chuck roast going for $32 (probably weighed about 5 lbs). Chuck is a cut of beef for the working man with a family...and they can't afford it...at least around here.
Absolutely will increase. Supply is extremely tight. How much? Once it reaches a certain price, the grocery stores will stop carrying it IMO. Beef that doesn't sell just goes bad.
