Could be said Houthis get credit for this for applying the pressure that led to the erroneous shoot down. Could also be said the Navy is demonstrating endemic incompetence that has been revealed on occasion over the years.

Typically in war, when one side makes mistakes and suffers a loss, the other side is credited just the same.
