In the video, Peterson merely gives a nod to Christianity and the Bible. He mentions Christ...but not as Savior and God. By listening carefully to what he says, I can tell that Peterson does not believe in what the Bible promises regarding the resurrection of humans from death.

This is Peterson's condition...

Now if Christ is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, your faith also is in vain. This kid had a pop bottle and he a kind of trying to hide it behind his leg. I said, "Let me see that.' I unscrewed the cap and smelled it. It was straight Jack. I said, "No. You can't have this."

He likely got it from home. If he had been holding it like a regular soda I might not have noticed. ;)

The Bible says that virtue will not save a man. And that God will allow Esso to go into eternity wherever he wants to go. If Esso does not want to be with God, there is nothing God can do to save Him. Esso's choice.
