Watching that POS brings back painful memories of when I had to take my mother out of my good house and put her in hospice when her dementia and infirmity got so bad that I could no longer keep her safe.

Hitler is informed Jimmy Carter has died
Hell, I'd go to the capitol while the MFer lies-in-state for EIGHT FUCKING DAYS to piss on him, but I've got a shy bladder and my prostate isn't what it used to be.
Don't even get me started on the Iran hostage deal.
I'm surprised the sumbitch didn't have black eyes and black hair.
I could only stomach about half of it.
Give me Cheems any day of the week. He brought happiness to people rather than the pain and suffering that Carter wrought upon the US. Carter's incompetency spun my destiny off in a direction it should have never taken. Rather than being overseas, I should have been having babies with Kimmy.
I cried like a baby over Cheems, you couldn't have forced a tear out of my eye if you stabbed it with an icepick over Carter. Good riddance.

I don't profess to being a theologian or smarter than the Creator, but I do have free will and a mind.
I was born, raised and confirmed as an honest-to-by-God Missouri Synod Lutheran.
I was pretty messed up after the BLT bombing in Beirut in '83 and mightily confused. I needed a simpler set of rules to get by on. I don't think the Virtues are in contradiction of the teachings of the Bible, but rather maybe an enhancement.
Like I said, I'm not a theologian, just a nobody trying to do the right thing. I'm not a Pagan or anything like that. Just a Hoosier Hayseed biding my time until I go home (which I figured would have been 15 years ago).

I am no different than you...except that I am the chief of sinners.
I'm just a messenger sent to tell people what the Bible says.
Jesus said, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God".
So, what does it mean to be born again. Well, our first birth is our physical birth. Our second birth is our spiritual birth...our human spirit comes to life when God's Spirit mixes with our spirit.
God literally takes up residence in your being.
You are right in saying you have a mind and a free will.
You can use your mind to determine if what Jesus said is true, and if it is what you want.
Ask Christ to come into your life...and He will.
This is the Christian message.

Doc sent me a pic of her all strapped up with the government's two criss-crossed bandoliers of H5N1 clot-shots in her pink scrubs gearing up to raid you guys.
She's just following orders. I'm gonna miss my Crispy Chicken Strips from Kroger.
I'm probably gonna miss Doc if she catches up with you guys.
Well, it's like my mother used to say, "If you can get over the dog, you can get over the tail."
I'm gonna miss my chicken strips.

I'm not suicidal, but there may be lurkers out there that need the 988 line. I had to refer someone to them not long ago. I only learned of it from this song.
There's only so much I can do.

Was it a thousand? Doubtful. A hundred? I might be getting close, I didn't keep count, which I kind of regret now.
The first was a gal, Pam P. (not THE Pam) but the sister of a Magnavox engineer.
The last was Aleena, the nurse from Lithuania.
Kimmy would love a thread about this. I'll think about it. It might be fun.
50? Maybe a bit low.
