State of Indiana is brutal on that. I haven't gotten a tax refund (Fed/State) for the last two or three years because of paying stock sell profits as income (not capital gains, I ain't that wealthy, just as income they count along with my salary.)
Point is, be careful about selling because Indiana will be completely up your ass over buy/sell margin.
