My aunt had a squatter. When she went in to change the locks, thinking they were gone, one of them punched her (she is 80). She pulled the hair of the puncher to get them off of her. The police were called. My aunt was arrested for assault and breaking and entering. Even though she owned the place, they had possession of it. Then they got a restraining order so she couldn’t even go near the house. A year later and a lot of legal bills later she got them out. But they destroyed the place. (It was in CA)
