Iran has been a hotbed of upheaval since the lawfully elected Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh was soon overthrown in a coup orchestrated by the CIA and British intelligence. The Shah was reinstalled as Iran's leader.

The Shah's reign of terror lasted until 1979 with the student uprising and seizure of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran that lasted 444 days until after Ronald Reagan's inauguration.

Jimmy Carter sent in Seal Team 6 in an attempt to rescue the hostages, but the mission had to be aborted when two choppers crashed in the desert. ;)

If the leaders on Iran had intelligence, they would produce nuclear bombs with the means of delivering them to Israel and Washington, DC. With nuclear bombs they will not be attacked. Without them, they will be attacked, millions murdered, and destroyed.
