Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., announced Monday night that he will introduce a bipartisan War Powers Resolution to prevent the United States from entering the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, as reported by Fox News.
The measure, set to be introduced Tuesday, seeks to block any unauthorized military involvement by U.S. forces without explicit congressional approval.
“This is not our war. But if it were, Congress must decide such matters according to our Constitution,” Massie posted on X. “I’m introducing a bipartisan War Powers Resolution tomorrow to prohibit our involvement. I invite all members of Congress to cosponsor this resolution.”

Have you noticed that you can watch the Israel Iran war on tv everyday but you could never see the Ukraine Russia war on tv?
Personally, I don’t want to see any foreign wars and I have always voted no to America paying for them or fighting in them.
But I just find the media coverage of one war versus another off.

Israel launched a wave of airstrikes against Iran last week, killing top military officials and nuclear scientists. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has claimed for years that Iran is on the verge of getting nuclear weapons. Iran responded with a series of missile strikes of its own.
