Blaise Metreweli, the incoming chief of the UK's MI6, has been linked to a controversial family history involving Nazi Germany. According to recent reports, her grandfather, Constantine Dobrowolski, was a Nazi collaborator and local intelligence chief in the Ukrainian region of Chernihiv during World War II.

Dobrowolski, known as "The Butcher" or "Agent No. 30" by Wehrmacht commanders, was involved in spying and killing on behalf of Hitler's regime.

He reportedly boasted of his involvement in the extermination of Jews and had a bounty placed on him by Soviet leaders.

Despite these revelations, MI6 has stated that Metreweli neither knew nor met her grandfather, emphasizing her own distinguished career within the intelligence community.

Metreweli is set to become the first woman to lead MI6, marking a significant milestone in the agency's 116-year history.

The Einsatzgruppen (German rear guard) were shooting Jews in the back of the head in Ukraine and dumping the bodies into ditches. ;)
