I lied. Most helos are set up for the pilot-in-command to be in the right seat where most airplanes are for set up for left seat like a car in the US and civilized countries.
I think Hughes 300 or 500 helos are set up for left hand. I have no idea why.
It's very difficult to switch sides. It's also difficult to land on the centerline of the runway as a new pilot.
And you're supposed to park ON THE LINE on the ramp (parking place). That's another story.
