4um News: Full support for YT, Rumble and Bitchute in place

Support is now is place on all composition pages for the major video providers of Youtube, Rumble and Bitchute. More can be added as needed. I believe any media embeds that are allowed by providers can also be added, like audio only embeds. Just need suggestions on what's desired. I've made this so there's just a single button for adding media and the site will figure out which provider it's from and do the embeds as needed for that provider and embed type.

I'll do a little more cosmetic work here and then leave the site alone for a bit.

I'm thinking of doing a mail blast for past active members, inviting them back. Maybe time for a "change my mind" meme?

That happened a couple hours ago and was unrelated to the web page coding changes. Not sure why or how that happened but hit it with a hammer and now it's working.

I tried the bold + italic for the first line. What am I doing wrong? It looks like the only thing it caught is the " from the git.

Seems to be working FINE! Bold and Italics work 2 different ways. You can highlight text you want bold/Ital'd and click the button. It should toggle between the markup and nornal. And/or click the button once and start typing, so new text will be modified. Text can be both bolded and itacliced. I suppose it would be good if the button changed when you clicked it so you know it's active. A feature I might save for premium subscribers.

That's weird. Maybe the font color is changing to white for some reason? Try again, and then try a mouse highlight on the text. Maybe it's just invisible?? Try clicking the button a second time and see if the text reappears?

Making invisible text bold and italic.... another premium feature idea.

Neil: You could eliminate one of the linebreaks when adding a video. I backspace to take them out, I think it looks better. JMHO.

I think I noticed something with the linebreaks. It does add extra linebreaks when they are inserted as it's problematic without at least 1 added.

Not to be a little whiny-ass bitch, but it might be a nice feature to allow pinging non-signed-up members, like Kimmy, for clarity. Jus' sayin'.

Come to think of it, I signed up my Godson, Sling Blade on my email or however it used to work and had a temporary password for him . I doubt he can get back on, given the new system.

I miss his post-DJing melt-downs. I miss noone2222 also. Maybe there's a way to recover them somehow? Or reset their accounts?

I don't know diddly-squat about computers. My last go-around was a Tandy Model 4 business system that a buddy programmed for me. Before that, a Sinclair ZX-80. 4 whole K of whatever.
