GoldMoney.com allows you to buy gold and silver and store it in Switzerland. Delaware Depository allows you to store gold and silver in the US, either in Wilmington, De or on Las Vegas.. Also gold and silver mining 
stocks but you need to have physical possession of the actual shares. In a worst case scenario digital stock shares might disappear.

If the gold or silver is not in one's hands it will disappear. I would not trust anyone from delaware to safeguard my Cracker Jack prize collection let alone PMs
