Looks like it's gonna be another slow/no news, boring day.

The rain might move out in a couple hours and I can get to the store for all the stuff I forgot last week.

Hopefully me and Doc can get things back on track with the long weekend coming up. It was not a good summer.

I can't believe Ian has a 2CV. About the only car to make my Clown Car look positively manly by comparison.

He's right about chicks liking those small goofy cars [except Kimmy].  The tire pressure checker chick at Discount tire wanted to come home with me last time I had them check the tires a year ago, but she was too young and fat for my taste. I think gals instinctively know that guys who drive ridiculously small cars aren't trying to compensate for having a small dicq, quite the opposite. Kim probably doesn't like me advertising that fact. 

Maybe it's a gun guy thing.

Lost Stairs Revealed After a Century—Wait Till You See What’s Up There


That reminds me of my Dad's older sister's house on Penn Ave. It had a wood staircase behind a narrow door on the 2nd floor up to the 3rd floor attic. I used to explore up there when I was a little kid.

My house is kinda like that, but the narrow, steep staircase leads to the bedroom and master bath. The house is very small, about 650 sq. ft. The upstairs is knee wall construction, the side walls are about four foot high, then they follow the roofline at an angle up to the ceiling which is about four foot wide.

Lost my good house [actually a villaminium] in the divorce in 2014. Dumbass Teri about gave it away. I would've paid her cash for the thing. It's probably worth about $750,000+ today.

Less than half what I had in it, somewhere between $125k-140k selling price. I got it for Mom, Harold and my handicapped Down's sister just before 2000, I think.
Made it 100% handicap accessible, super energy efficient and self sustaining in case of electric utility outages, which actually happened twice. Once after a summer derecho for several days, and once in the winter which lasted a week. I had to have Chris take me over there in his 4x4 to service the generators every few days.
An old lady down the street almost froze to death, had I known, I would've taken her to mom's joint. I felt bad about that.
Most folks went to motels and had a lot of frozen pipe damage etc. during that ice storm.

I've spent $425 dollars today and last week ensuring I could make Kimmy anything she wants this weekend and the only thing I want is cookie dough for dinner.
