$140,000 Poverty Line
Viewers had lots to say about Mike Green's "real" poverty line. I will follow up on the topic in today's show as well.

Housing is way low for a high COL area. A 1 bedroom apartment in a bad neighborhood is over $2k/mo where I live. Healthcare is low based on what I have seen decent non subsidized insurance for a family of 4 costing per month. Our “guests” get housing, healthcare and food complements of the taxpayer. Don’t forget ~$30k/yr in fed taxes.

The four pack of ground beef at Costco is now $30 up from $17 but a whole chicken fully cooked is under 8. Where's the beef?

(I can remember paying 15 cents for a can of sardines and 19 cents for a pound of chicken wings in the 1970s. Rent was affrodable
in the 1960s in California. Unlimited legal and illegal immigration killed that)

Cancer Surgeon Drops Ivermectin Bombshell

The Nobel prize winning miracle drug Ivermectin works as an antiviral, anticancer, is part of a Lyme Disease cure protocol, and even reverses dementia, all while having a safety profile that is far superior to aspirin or any “vaccine” for that matter.

Cancer surgeon Dr. Kathleen Ruddy had the following to say about Ivermectin:

Cancer Surgeon: “Ivermectin Is SAFER Than a Sugar Pill” 👁️
“You’d have to take a lot to make yourself sick.”

Dr. Kathleen Ruddy has also observed multiple late-stage cancer patients make dramatic recoveries after taking ivermectin.

Ivermectin is also:
• A Nobel Prize-winning discovery (2015)
• Recognized, 2nd to penicillin, for having the greatest impact on human health
• Credited for bringing river blindness to the brink of elimination
• Used globally in HUMANS, with over 3.7 billion doses administered.

Ingredient in diet sodas, ice cream and chewing gum (Sorbitol) now linked to liver disease

Eating a specific type of sweetener could raise your risk of suffering from liver disease, a study suggests.

Scientists found that sorbitol, a sugar alcohol used as a sugar substitute added to some diet sodas, sugar-free gums, low-sugar candy, ice cream and desserts, as well as some low-calorie fruit drinks, could raise the risk of fatty liver disease.

Suffered by nearly 100 million Americans, fatty liver disease is a condition in which dangerous fat builds up in the liver, triggering inflammation, scarring and even liver failure.

Researchers at Washington University in St Louis found in tests on zebrafish that sorbitol, used as a sugar substitute because it is much lower in calories, was naturally produced in the gut when glucose levels were high but was usually cleared by healthy gut bacteria.

When those bacteria were removed, which commonly occurs in humans who take certain medications, however, the sorbitol traveled to the liver, where it accelerated fat build-up. This happened because the sorbitol was converted into fructose, which was then converted into fat.

The scientists wrote in their research paper: 'Together, these findings show that sorbitol-degrading bacteria in the gut protect against [fatty] liver disease.

'It suggests that excessive intake of dietary sorbitol may pose a risk for the development of [fatty liver disease].'

The tests were carried out in fish and will need to be repeated in humans to confirm the results, although the researchers said it was a clear warning about the risks posed by sorbitol.

"$140,000 Poverty Line"

Thanks to Obama and the Dims, my health insurance is going to be $30k next year, and Prez Pedo and his band of degenerates ran other prices up so much that $140k isn't squat anymore.

The current Manager where I work makes over $1,000/wk.

When I worked for Illinois State Highways in the 80s we made that much every two weeks. But our pay came from the excise taxes on motor fuels.

We were all Teamsters. When the state got tired of paying time and a half after midnight, they forced us to accept straight pay and according to our contract we were not allowed to strike because in winter we had to keep the roads open and passable.

One winter there was so much snow they called for loaders from gravel pits with 7 yard buckets. The guy gets out there and opens the door and hollers, "Where do you want it"? We told him, "Anywhere, just get it off the road."

We was throwing scoops over a guard rail. There was a flash of color.  He threw a car over the rail. We stopped him. They put a chain on the car and pulled it up and set it on the road. There wasn't a scratch on it. The snow acted as a buffer. ;)
