Yeah, she got here Friday night about 1800, but getting her out might be problematic, we got what looks like about 6" of snow Saturday with more lake effect snow on the way today with winds up to 35mph.
The snow is above the bottoms of my gates. Maybe Chris will dig us out later today, weather permitting.
He might have to take her to work in his 4x4 when he gets home from work tomorrow morning or maybe she'll close her office Monday.
This caught us off-guard, we weren't expecting this much. It's way early for this much snow.
They say Huntington, about 25 miles SSW of us got 10.3" as of 0130 this morning.

At least we've got plenty to eat since I went to the store twice in the last week or so. As far as I'm concerned, she can stay until spring.
The 10 day forecast is calling for highs below freezing everyday. I hope Mother Nature gets this out of her system.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — As the City of Fort Wayne prepares for heavy snowfall that may envelop the area over the weekend, crews are working to quickly prepare for the wintry weather.

According to the City of Fort Wayne, the Street Department is converting tanker [actually dump] trucks that are currently being used for leaf pickup into snow plows. As a result, leaf pickup across the Summit City may be delayed.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 7 a.m. Saturday to 7 p.m. Sunday, and weather forecasts show Fort Wayne could get up to 6 inches of snow. [It's more than that already. This is two days old]

City residents are encouraged to find off-street parking so snow plows can blade as close to the curb as possible.

Kimmy's pacing around like a caged animal. Bad case of cabin fever. I'm afraid she's gonna chew off her leg.
I started the dryer to fluff the clothes in the dryer so she can put them away.
Chris bailed a couple hours ago without blowing his snow, he might've gotten called into work.
Doc better plan on being here for awhile.

Doc just made the call to close her office tomorrow. I didn't want her on the roads anyway.

I'm breakin' out the booze. I would have done it anyway, I'm bored watching her being bored.
