I cannot fathom how a theology that teaches that a certain group of people are "chosen" by God for preferential treatment could NOT lead to a very destructive and demonic ethnic-religious supremacist ideology.  Human nature being what it is, it's unavoidable.

I think most of the Old Testament / Torah / Talmud or whatever was written buy their version of the Deep State that sought ways of controlling the masses.  And what better way to do that back in the day but to tell them all how angry God was at them for doing things the priests didn't want them to do!  Dr. Fauci (Dr. Science) is simply a modern version of an ancient high priest.  Follow me, do what I say or you're all going to die. 

It's the same crap, different century, millennia.  One part the OT did get right though: "There's nothing new under the sun".  Forget if that's Ecclesiastics or Proverbs, but I won't bother to fact check myself.  People in power always want to control the masses, and they'll do it any way they can.  Always have, always will.
