I lived through Carter's inflation, Prez Pedo's was a lot worse. They changed the way they measure it. 9% under Biden? Try more like 100-200%, if you could find anything. Mayor Pete Buttplug's cargo crisis had my Kroger looking like it was in the USSR, pre collapse.

The chick remembers falling down THREE YEARS AGO??? I probably haven't gone three weeks in a row due to post-accident vertigo. I have to be really careful about moving my head, especially up, or the world starts spinning.
At any given time, I look like I've been in a motorcycle accident. Had I not figured out how to install handrails on my stairs a few years ago, I'd probably be dead.
My stairs are steep, probably about 45 degrees.  I put in two rails, one low (20" measured vertically from the nose of the stairs, for going up), one high (38" for going down). Measured perpendicularly along the slant, they're about 12" apart.
Think about a step-ladder, the handhold going up is the leg of the ladder (0"). If you TURN AROUND to go down, the vertical height difference is very high (there's probably a formula for that, but I don't know it, or don't care). I don't do sin/cos BS anymore, don't need to.
A few folks have used that dual-rail thing since. My older sister, for one, who's 5 years older than me, who is a basket of problems post clot-shots (She's still in the hospital from her heart stoppage almost 6 weeks ago), and my buddy Rainman, who did his basement stairs so his wife could navigate them after a hip replacement a couple years ago. Those were steeper than my stairs.
For my rail, I used inch and a half PVC electrical conduit and standard rail wall brackets, which has a cool, steampunk vibe. Rainman either used chainlink corner post or galvanized iron pipe for his. His had to be really stiff for a cantilever situation (long, even more boring story).

Back when Marla was still living with me, about 2017-18, I looked up too fast when going up to bed and fell off the side of my stairs and cut my ear where it hooks to my head. Bled like a stuck pig, the ears are very vascular. She ran me to the emergency room that used to be a Chinese restaurant. It took four stitches. I think it was something crazy like $13,000 after Obamacare paid their 'fair' share.

At least the chick was good at sewing, my ear isn't fucked up or anything. Lutheran hospital group had a good night for themselves for less than an hours work with only a local anesthetic. They took me in before the waiting room full of illegals and negros with children with the sniffles that wouldn't pay their bills.

I think that was the last time I saw a doctor with my pants on.

"(She's still in the hospital from her heart stoppage almost 6 weeks ago)"

I can almost talk now, so I called my sister's friend Dorothy to see how Mary's doing. Dorothy said she's doing "REALLY well."
I wouldn't define the possibility of going into a nursing home or hospice as 'good, great, excellent'.
I'm not sure exactly what's going on on up there, I might be being fed an elaborate fairy tale. I'm not even sure where she's at now or if she's still alive.
I might have to get Dr. Kimmy involved to throw her credentials around, even though I don't want her to. I'd guess an MD with "The most corrupt hospital group in the US" carries more weight than an ex-spook with a cold.
I asked Dorothy if Mary is able to take calls on her phone and was told Mary bricked her phone somehow, something about passwords, or something.

2025 sucked shit in hell...

Hey
@grok
, does Pete Buttigieg have a friend serving thirty years in prison for possession and distribution of child pornography?
Yes, Patrick Wojahn, former mayor of College Park, MD, who described Pete Buttigieg as his mentor and buddy, was sentenced to 30 years in prison in November 2023 after pleading guilty to 140 counts of possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material.

The cop should've blown the kid's head off. I can't believe he holstered his gun in the middle of a struggle. That might've been his last mistake.
The loss prevention officer is watching Jason Hanson (CIA) videos as I type.
He's lucky to be alive.

No, I've never met him...

Tap - make sure the mag is fully seated
Rack - cycle the slide, especially if the gun fired in the struggle
Bang - kill them with their own gun or yours

Hanson's probably a lot younger than me, but we've had the same training.

Yeah, I'm an old movie fan. Robert Osborn used to do the year end tributes, I suppose he's gone too. My last exposure to cable was my mother's house with my TIVO DVR burning movies on DVD when I was there taking care of her.
That event ended in 2014 when mom died and my ex-wife took possession of MY HOUSE and half my net worth.
It is what it is.
Teri lost half of that when her gay male pediatric nurse/personal trainer left her for his boyfriend. I couldn't make this shit up, I swear.

Teri took me to Angie's funeral in June, she knows I don't deal with death too well. Chris was surprised to see her holding my hand on the worst day of his life. It made him happy. Kimmy was at the hospital working on that Saturday and had never met him until a few weeks ago when he took her home in his 4x4 when Doc got snowed in.

I haven't asked Chris about how that went. Since his wife died, he's Mr. Tight Lips. He does what he has to do via text. Every time I saw him last summer and we talk, we both end up crying.

I finally got around to texting Christa, my tax babe, as to why there wasn't an annual Egg Nod party (My sister's medical problems) at her office with her gals. I wanted her to know I wasn't mad or having a hissy-fit.
I probably ruined her weekend, but I didn't want her to think I was mad or something. I'll make up for it after the holidays, but before the hardcore tax season.

When I retired, I got rid of cable and spent the money more wisely on streaming services. Lots of old movies. Also on Youtube and OK.Ru It
is a Russian website with all of the Ann Sheridan Maisie movies. Plus the original Arsenic and Old Lace

For Kimmy... We don't talk about the past much. We don't talk much about anything, TBH. What would a couple of gov't sanctioned killers talk about? Needles vs. guns? Fauchi mandates vs CIA directives?

I miss high school. I miss being young. Roller skating is out of the question, for both of us.

Martha Stewart is within a hundred years or so of Dr. Horse, but she's still cute. I've never had a face-to-face with Horse, he's probably not 'cute' at over a thousand years old, but he seems to be doing pretty good. Probably looks better than me.

I've really got the Sgt. Barnes look from "Platoon" down pat. Kim doesn't want me for my money, her net worth is probably five times mine. It must be my witty intellect, or my dicq. She's probably with Dakkie tonight since I'm sick for the second weekend in a row and don't want to get blamed if she get something.

Sorry, I'm bored without Kim here. Sober, aside from Nyuil, on a Saturday night. 2025 sucks.

"When I retired, I got rid of cable and spent the money more wisely on streaming services."

I don't pay for shit.  My 400 disc Sony DVD changer with over a thousand movies was taken out by a lightning strike on my house, not the powerline, several years ago, including plumbing doodads on the south side of my house.
My house insurance was worthless. You could see lightning on my living room wall (kinda cool, actually), almost everything was taken out if it had electronics in it and my security system.

I rely on EweToob free movies for noise while I'm sleeping to drown out my tinnitus.
"Blade Runner" and "Blade Runner 2049" or whatever are on tap now.

My favorites were 1930s depression era movies like "Merrily We Live" and "My Man Godfrey," with Carole Lombard that went to my dad's high school before she was killed in a plane crash near Las Vegas during a war bond tour.
My wife got me 8x10 framed glossies of those two and a lot of others as Xmas presents.
Teri was a smart cookie, she knew that she couldn't buy anything I needed or wanted, because I'd already have it, so she got numismatic doo-dads that I wouldn't go out of my way to get.

I should probably fill her in on my sister, what little I know. I don't wanna screw up her holidays, she's probably scrambling for dicq and a real man again.
After she brought me home from Angie's funeral, she asked me to "go upstairs" with her (bedroom). I declined.

I wouldn't do that to Kimmy, as much as I wanted to. She does have an inch-by-inch survey of my, used to be our, property in her mind though.
Teri still looked pretty good for 64, but drawn, desperate.
Chris's eyes lit up at his wife's funeral when he saw her for the first time in ten years or so. That made it worthwhile.
She's a HORRIBLE driver, I don't know if she's blind or was just in awe of my awesomeness again.
Regardless, Doc wasn't too happy about me being in close-quarters with her again.

For all I know, Kimmy might be across the street with Chris now since I've been sick for a week. I think she's in Kokomo with Dakmar TBH.
Teri might be over there. Chris is too good looking to go for pussy that's 15 years older than him, I don't care.

I know that wasn't the 40s, things weren't that unkempt. I wasn't there, but Horse was. The 1740s on. j/k Horse. Lighten up.

I'm glad Kim's not here, the NyQuil I've been living on last week is making my lips fall off. I remember when my hands were that way.

Dorothy telling me that my sister bricked her phone has me really concerned.
If Dorothy did a 'factory reset' like she told me, ALL of my numbers are gone, including the 'super secret' Company emergency numbers.

If I have to go to Chicagoland, I can't do it alone and without backup. I'd end up in a shithole jail in about two seconds with the boyz in the hood.
The only guy extant that I know and is available is Rainman, the 6'2" 300+ trucker. He's not working, there's no lime dust going into construction projects until next spring.
His wife bailed me out of jail the last time I was swatted. The bitch charged me 15% rather than the normal 10%, but I didn't have anybody else to call. Actually, I didn't call, her daughter, the cop, told her.
Assault and battery, if you were wondering, which, of course I didn't do. Pre-trial diversion, blah, blah, blah. I did 26 weeks of non-violence classes. My good criminal legal-beagle died several years previous.

Kimmy's gonna get tired of all the drama, but I'm gonna have to do what I've gotta do. I hope Gina doesn't let me and Jay sit in jail too long if it comes to that.

If Dorothy (who I've never met) doesn't get Mary on the phone tomorrow as she promised, I'm gonna have to roll with security.
Man, this is bullshit, I'm way to old for this gangster/spook shit. I've notified the FBI, but they're disinterested. I suppose they're busy redacting the Epstein files.
I'm not exactly one of the CIA's favorites since they went LGBTQAI+, years ago, especially the upper echelons.

Gawd, I'm gonna have to get Kimmy involved, which I really didn't want to do, but she's the only person I have that has the juice to afford a clusterfuck like this.
I hope this thing resolves tomorrow, else I'm off on another suicide mission.

Things were goin' pretty good until June, then it started falling apart when Angie and Sarah died. Dear God, please let this end. I can't take much more.

Madonna used to be somewhat pretty. The wide-set eyes and wide nose bridge are characteristics of fetal alcohol syndrome. Jus' sayin'. The years of surgery made it much better. LOL.
The song has a great sound, plastic surgery notwithstanding. She has pretty eyes.

How do they have everybody's DNA? Dentists and MDs are a place to start. Barbers? How close do you watch them?

June Wetherby (1917-1992) was a beloved figure in Notting Hill, London, remembered through a memorial bench in a garden dedicated by Joseph, who sat beside her in that spot, highlighting a sweet, enduring friendship or love story in a public space, according to posts showing the inscription.

She's like a 2X tall Kimmy. We'll have to watch it if EweToob free movies has it on.

We don't do the hoity-toity fancy shit, but we could, that's not our style. Polo is gay.
And Kim's mouth isn't that big.

Kim's been calling me on the hour on my home phone (Marla trick) to make sure I'm home.
She loves me for some reason.

I think she likes me because I'm sedate. Don't get too spun up. I almost think that her group is running her like a mechanic.
