Crazy weather in the Summit City (41.1 degrees north latitude), temp 62 degrees now, rain, forecast calling for 19 degrees by midnight with a 'flash freeze' advisory for tonight.

Forecast is calling for below freezing high temps at least until Thursday. The 5, 7 and 10 day forecasts must not be available on Sunday on 39.5 WX.

62 is 28 degrees above the normal high for this date.

Dr. Kimmy is still sickly, but getting better. She hasn't been downstairs since she got here Xmas night. Not much of a weekend for either of us.

She should probably just stay here until after New Year's and she's a lot better. I think it's unethical to see patients while she's sick, but 'GOTTA MAKE MONEY!' for the hospital group.

NEW: Man shows how easy it is to get through New York City’s new MTA turnstile gates, which will cost the city over $7 million to install.

Not everyone had an easy time getting through the gates. One woman got her head stuck in it. [No doubt she'll sue the city and win. I'd guess 3.5 million]

The city is installing new "fins" and "sleeves" to deter fare-skipping. The changes will be made to all 472 subway stations, costing about $7M to install.

I talked Miss Sicky-Butt (Dr. Kimmy) into pulling the plug on going into her office tomorrow. Her PA should be able to handle the shop, or reschedule.

I doubt it was my 'ethical argument', but more so the weather turning to absolute crap. We'll be in a deep-freeze by morning. A front, with a lot of rain just went through. The temp is dropping like a stone, one degree per smoke in my garage.

I'll start fuckin' with her head tomorrow afternoon about staying here (home?) until the new year and she's 100%.

I figure she has the same thing I did, so I'm not worried about getting sick again. If I get sick, so what?

As usual, she wouldn't decide what she wanted for dinner, so I made Pacman Brand Porcupines. Like porcupines, but eliminating the horribly tedious step of making meatballs, which busts my onions.

It's like taco meat, but with rice. They fall apart when you eat them anyway, but it doesn't drive me crazy.
