I vaguely remember this as a kid, I would've been 10 y/o. I thought you music heads might enjoy it. I'll put it on when me and Kimmy go upstairs tonight, I doubt she's seen it.

It was a made-for-TeeVee cartoon.

I think there was supposed to be a moral to the story, probably about racism or whatever they called it back then.

Everybody had pointed heads except a boy called Oblio with a round head.

That song is the only thing I really remember about it. I want to show it to Kim tonight and see what she thinks.

My company's here. We're all scrubbed, pink and stinkin' pretty.

I got my first decent shave in more than a month. She's got a lot more vested in it. I can't see or feel it. LOL.

When Kim got here, she made a weird noise and said, "I can see you haven't been out of the house in a while."

She looks a lot better in my T-shirts than I do.

there wasn't a "permanent" TV in the house until around '74 and even then I would have been out hunting or fishing or working on a log cabin around four of us felled the trees to build. we would camp out there in the summer working on it being next to the river we put out throw lines before hitting the hay and have fresh fish as soon as we got up. so I don't recall such a show or even hearing anyone talk of it. we would go down the block and lay on the grass at their basement window to watch Dark Shadows after school. vampires are supposed to "live" for very long times but one doesn't hear much of Barnabas Collins any more.

My Dad worked for Magnavox (now a part of Raytheon) in active electronic warfare (EW1, a Raytheon designation) pushing around a drafting table and desk before he died in 1976 at 49, heart attack.

His quack MD, that he was in the Army with in WWII, was treating his heart symptoms as indigestion, prescribing Tagamet, an ulcer Rx.

Me and physicians don't get along too well, present company excluded, as long as she doesn't try diagnosing me.

Needless to say, Dad got his electronics from employee sales for about half price. He used to joke about Magnavox being a better furniture company than TVs, etc.

Ask me about the 'break-front' cabinet sometime. It was a floor to ceiling affair with a multi-band radio, LW, AM, SW (before FM), phonograph, china cabinet and TeeVee, which was removed when it became unserviceable, I was told it was maybe 13".

Kimmy's bugging me, I guess she wants to talk to Neil.

I recall that song used as a jingle for a car ad on my tube driven AM radio the case was deformed from the heat of the tube it was one my dad rebuilt, he was at Rockwell International for thirty years in the military radio repair section.

I'm looking forward to seeing this cartoon that everybody remembers but doesn't remember. I'm positively fascinated to see it after Jim mentioned something about a moral. He's Mr. Morals. He makes me feel bad sometimes. When we got back together two years ago I mentioned hospital directives regarding Coronavirus protocols and I've never seen him so mad. It about ended before it got started again. I understand his sensitivity about the issues now. I didn't know that at the time.

I haven't seen Jim for two weeks because I was sick. He's lost a noticeable amount of weight since then. He's worrying about his sister. Her prognosis is not good. I read the the messages he's being sent he's doing ok holding things together. He's had a lot of practice.

Yeah, yeah. Of course that break-front cabinet was tube-type.

It was a beautiful piece of furniture. I still think I have a pic in my phone before it was hauled away by the antiques dealer when I was liquidating Mom's estate.

You should see my attics, you could start a museum. I still have Dad's old tube-type "portable" late 50s Wallensak reel to reel that the family used to send voicemail via the USPS before Dad died.

It used to be quite the gathering. The FW family would all get together for 'a recording session' at one of the houses to send to California and back.

I never thought about it before, but it's a 50-some year precursor to EweToob.

That Wollensak probably has 20lbs of aluminum in it. I should either have a movie company buy it for a prop or scrap it.

My sister was supposed to go through this joint and take anything she wanted. That ain't happening thanks to Fauchi and his virus and Prez Pedo and his mandates.

here's what I found

The Plymouth Arrow was an extension of the Mitsubishi Lancer/Dodge Colt known as the Mitsubishi Celeste in Japan. It was also known as the Dodge Arrow in Canada and as the Dodge Celeste in Puerto Rico. It was a small 2-door fastback coupe with a hatchback instead of a conventional trunk.

I don't recall ever actually seeing one just thought the song was the same as used in the car ads the first engine I did a rebuild of was Datsun I got from my sister the number four piston came out in six pieces the piston slap made a lot of noise it was my high school auto shop project had to wait a couple weeks for the replacement pistons come from Japan, I gaged all the bearing clearances before I lugged it to school. didn't bother gaging the rods as those and their bearings were being replaced as well. I did keep the old pistons for use as ashtrays they were real small I think the engine was a 1100 1200 cc displacement, much smaller than the 1600 cc VW Beetles I owned, those were 85mm diameter a joy to work on.

I'm glad I knocked Jim out. I got about half way through it. It was such a divisive red blue white brown point no-point dark mindfuck piece of manipulative shit I had to turn it off.

I can see why it's banned in your country. I can't go on. I know why nobody can remember it now. It's very dark.

I'd love to see the moral that Pac thought he remembered but I'm afraid to go on.

I might have to take half of a trazodone just to sleep.

Pac's on his own on this one. I can't do it. I wonder if he knew what he was doing this morning. He has more psychological training than I do.

Maybe I'm overacting maybe children were tougher in 1970 maybe this was meant for adults not for me.
