I think the Vega Kammback wagons and later the Pontiac Sunbird wagons were cool. I had an SO 1979 Sunbird wagon with a Buick 3.8L V6.
Some asshole rear-ended me at a stoplight before I could desmog and jerk the motor over and totaled it.
It's my understanding that the big problem with Pinto coupes was the rear gas filler and the massive size differences in cars at the time.
I don't think the Pinto wagon had that problem, it was a side fill.
