Too much black tea today. I thought I'd give her a couple hours of good sleep without stirring her every hour getting up to pee.

I wanted to see what the markets are doing with all the war doom & gloom.

Asia: Slightly down, at least the markets that are open.

Europe: Not open yet.

US pre-market: Down less than 1 %.

Energy: Up about 5% across the board.

Precious metals: Up 0-2%.

Crypto: Pretty much flat.

The US open may tell another story. I think PMs and energy are gonna carry the day.

I texted my tax-babe, Christa, last week that I hadn't forgotten her and my 1099s from my brokerage were late. She replied , "No worries."

Too bad she's married, she's as cool as the other side of the pillow in August.

She's not near as hot as Kim, but I don't think she's killed anybody following hospital/government mandates.

She bought the firm when the honcho, Bob, was eliminated via clot-shots, Remdisavir and ventilator protocols around 2021-22 or thereabouts.

He used to tease me when I'd bring in or send flowers/snacks for the gals that he was going to charge me extra because I'd shut the joint down with my shenanigans.

They're the reason why I paid for a 'passport' with 1800Flowers.com. That and all the clot-shot funerals.

I missed my annual 'bring in the high-test eggnog and flowers' between Thanksgiving and Xmas in the off-season this year. It was because I was busy with all of all my sister's medical ordeals.

The last time I stopped in last summer, I met her mom and dad. Nice people. Papa-san was a Korean War vet.

Christa saved my ass in the 2018 tax year when my younger handicapped sister died.

The trust fund that was set up for her when my father died in 1976, that was supposed to go back to the government, since she was in the government's care in a Medicaid-waiver home, costing the taxpayers a ton of money.

It ended up going to my older sister and me. The tax forms came after I did TurboTax that left off the ObamaCare shit and wouldn't let me revise it. I needed help.

I picked Bob's, now Christa's firm, on a BBB website pretty much by location alone.

God had his hand on my shoulder, for sure.
