did you know vending machines kill more humans than sharks?

Maybe because sharks rarely use vending machines

Kim got out of here before the weather really crapped out, although it was 40 degrees colder (31) at zero-dark thirty this morning, still windy, 40mph gusts.
They're calling for an inch of lake effect snow by drive time this afternoon, two inches total.
I thought we were done with that nonsense this year. I worry about Kim driving with all the clot-shotters on the road, herself included.
I don't know if she's a good driver or not. She's never driven me since we got back together. Maybe she never has, I don't remember.
My ex-wife is a bad driver now. The ride to and from Angie's funeral last June was an honest-to-byGod white-knuckle experience. Through downtown no less. EGADS!

I'm waiting for a callback from the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, TRAA, about their $2,200+ bill. I have their LifeCare ambulance insurance ($75.00/year), the bill should be $0.00.
I'll have to drag my stupid cell phone around on me all day until I hear back.
I'd rather go for a car ride with my ex.

"so, if you are a good driver beware."

No worries. Hell, I drive so seldom that I can't remember how to work stuff like the wipers, front and back or the headlights. I should put the manual back in the Clown Car glovebox.
My Tacoma is more intuitive, but the last time I had it out it felt like driving one of those giant dump trucks in a gravel quarry.
At least the clock is right again in the Clown Car with the time change.
That's an impossible task without the manual.
And the service reminders, forget about it. Not only do I not know what they mean, they can't be reset using the procedures in the owner's manual.
That's a Chip job now, with his fancy OBD2 scanners that he tells me costs thousands of dollars per year to update.

How he knows so much about Smart cars is a mystery. There couldn't have been a dozen of them in FTW in their heyday. Most probably went to the Mercedes dealer for service.
Chip texted me a pic of the CC with the front clip off of it to replace the leaky A/C condenser coil. Luckily, he lets me source my own parts, at my own risk ($100/hr), of course.
There's not a nut or a bolt on the sumbitch that Mercedes charges less than $800 for. There's a lot of 'new old stock' surplus parts on eBay.

I'm busting my ass trying to find palay, in the Philippines one is hard pressed to drive paved roads during the rice harvest without every 1/4 mile in one laid with palay for drying. it was okay to drive on it if you didn't go too fast. if they didn't want you to drive on it they would place large stones in with it.

"I'm busting my ass trying to find palay"

What do you use that for? Making brooms?

add to my chicken feed, they get a three-course breakfast every morning, scratch grain, cracked corn and whole oats and egg maker crumble I want the palay to mix in with the cracked corn and oats. palay was all I ever feed my chickens there. every night the big palm roaches would come out and turn into a June bug.
