No news today worth posting that I could find.
My tax-babe texted me that her and the gals got their flowers and fancy chocolate covered strawberries today and sent me a pic.
They looked pretty good. 1800Flowers.com said FedEx delivered them.

I saw one of these at Chip's downtown shop, but it was the passenger side that was modified for the guy's daughter's wheelchair.

It's raining like a bitch here, and by the looks of the radar, it's not gonna stop anytime soon.
At least they took my recycling bin today, they missed it two weeks ago. They only come every other week. This was the first time I put it out this year.
The only reason I have one is because they don't charge for it like they do the trash.

Maybe I'll get to the store tomorrow. It's been awhile, things are gettin' pretty thin in the skin in my freezers.
I'll have to go before my company comes next Saturday. Kim's hard enough to cook for with a full complement of supplies.
I hope Kroger has some decent flowers for a change, it's been too long. If not, I'll have to hit the florist across from the store.
Doc might get pissy after helping me pick out flowers and candy to have sent to my tax-babe and her gals last weekend.

Gotta keep her happy, it's too hard finding chicks without dicqs these days...

it has been drier than a popcorn fart for three years last rain was 1/4 inch the 8th of march if it wasn't for the 80-100% humidity everything would be dust. the guy who farms where I keep the birds is hoping to put in cotton this year, ran sorghum last two. probably 100 or so acres of red stem coastal hay should have been close to ready to bale by now has been dormant for 4 or 5 months now. it is really drought tolerant once we get a steady few days of rain it will take off. the bale they left for us for coop bedding is gone. one bale down by the shoreline we can open. the stems will shoot out six or more feet and then 3 feet up. it will live through saltwater soakings; one place we mow is on the intercoastal waterway with a ten-foot sea wall with lots of the bluestem right now it is all lying flat. the last big storm from the SSE put flotsam 25 feet beyond the sea wall, but that was over a year ago. where we park there, it is about 5 feet above sea level with the top of the lot at 12 to 14 feet above sea level. wind fest is coming up next week I haven't been to it in over 20 years.
