A Yale University professor of law and history, Samuel Moyn, has resurrected and redefined Marxian class conflict. In the old Marxism, the capitalists exploited the workers. In Moyn’s version, elderly Americans exploit the young. Moyn’s solution, espoused, of course, in the New York Times (April 21), is for the old to be dispossessed of their homes, jobs, accumulated wealth, and political and judicial offices. These dispossessions and more are needed for “intergenerational justice,” by which Moyn means redistribution from the aged to the young, and in order to stop older Americans from “Hoarding America’s Potential.” Moyn thinks that a poorly educated and undisciplined youth can manage all of America’s affairs better than better educated and more disciplined older Americans.

Moyn builds his case against “gerontocratic society.” Older Americans, that is more experienced Americans, are overrepresented in political life and have too much power. This results in inequality and injustice and in regressive public policies.

Undercover Video Shows Nuclear Official Revealing Bombshell Information to a Stranger

America’s nuclear arsenal is one of the nation’s most closely guarded secrets.

This security leak will leave you speechless.

And one undercover video just exposed this terrifying nuclear secret.

Undercover investigative journalist James O’Keefe dropped another shocking hidden video exposé when he posted footage of Andrew Hugg, a top nuclear official, dishing about America’s nuclear and chemical weapons programs to a woman who was really an undercover journalist while on a date.

“Andrew Hugg, a US Chief of Chemical Nuclear Surety, was caught on hidden camera casually revealing sensitive information to a stranger in a public restaurant. Andrew Hugg, Chief of Chemical Nuclear Surety, in charge of nuclear and chemical safety, was caught on hidden camera releasing information regarding the US Nuclear Information. He claims the U.S. still possesses nerve agents and says a US Army chemist recently died from exposure,” O’Keefe posted on X.

Survey identifies majors that recent graduates regret the most the top one is unsurprising

A survey found that college graduates who earned a degree in liberal arts regretted their major the most of all respondents.

The ZipRecruiter study surveyed 1,500 graduates from the class of 2025 and another 1,500 students set to graduate in the spring.

Overall, about 1 in 5 of all grads said they were regretful of their majors.

The report said that many of the regretful liberal arts majors wished they had focused on scientific or quantitative fields instead.

After the liberal arts, recent grads with political science, international relations, or public policy degrees were the next-highest regretful, with about 46.3% ruing their decisions.

The ZipRecruiter survey found that almost a third of nursing graduates were able to obtain a job before even graduating.

Nursing majors also had the highest median salary upon graduation, which was $70,000 a year.

Schumer rushes to defend the SPLC after it was EXPOSED for apparently funding racist extremism

The Justice Department announced on Tuesday that a grand jury in Alabama returned an indictment charging the Southern Poverty Law Center with 11 counts of wire fraud, false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering.

Democrats are by now no doubt accustomed to hearing that many of the activists driving their agenda on the left are crooked; however, the SPLC is not merely accused of corruption.

'It should send a chill down the spine of every American.'

Rather, it has been credibly accused of bankrolling leaders and organizers in the very extremist groups it claimed to be fighting — including the Ku Klux Klan, the Aryan Nation, the American Front, United Klans of America, the National Socialist Party of America, and the National Alliance — as well as having a hand in the deadly 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

"The SPLC is manufacturing racism to justify its existence," stated acting Attorney General Todd Blanche.

Google Deepens Anthropic Bet With Up To $40 Billion Investment

 by Tyler Durden

The AI funding frenzy continues, with Google planning to invest $10 billion in Anthropic at a $350 billion valuation, deepening its relationship with the San Francisco-based AI company best known for building Claude.

Bloomberg reports that Google's deal with Anthropic includes an initial $10 billion investment at a $350 billion valuation, with the potential for another $30 billion if certain performance milestones are achieved. That would bring the potential deal size to as much as $40 billion.

Part of the deal includes Google Cloud providing 5 gigawatts of computing capacity to the AI startup, founded in 2021 by former OpenAI employees, including Dario Amodei and Daniela Amodei, over the next five years. Additional capacity could follow.

(Claude was far superior to Grok but Elon Musk decided to improve Grok from the ground up by revising previous forms of Grok. Brave browser AI.)

Grok has significantly improved in recent months, with major updates and advancements in both capabilities and performance. The most recent version, Grok 4.20 Beta 2, was released on March 3, 2026, and includes several key improvements such as better instruction following, reduced hallucinations, enhanced LaTeX support, more accurate image search, and improved multi-image rendering.

. This update is considered the current publicly available model and represents a notable leap in performance, particularly in reasoning tasks, where Grok 4.20 achieved 91.2% on the ARC-Challenge benchmark and 96.4% on GSM8K, demonstrating human-level math comprehension

Beyond the 4.20 update, xAI has been operating on a rapid iteration cycle, with Elon Musk confirming that the team often ships model updates twice a week, which suggests continuous improvement rather than discrete version launches

. This approach has led to noticeable performance gains, with users reporting faster responses and sharper reasoning

. Additionally, the integration of a 4-agent system—comprising Grok (coordinator), Harper (research), Benjamin (logic/math), and Lucas (contrarian analysis)—has enhanced multi-step reasoning and cross-verification of outputs

Looking ahead, Grok 5 is in development and expected to be released in Q2 2026, with speculation pointing to a 6 trillion parameter model built on the Colossus 2 supercluster, which is being upgraded to 1.5GW by April 2026

. This next-generation model is anticipated to feature dynamic agent spawning, a 1.5 million token context window, and advanced multimodal capabilities, including real-time video generation via Grok Imagine

. The platform also continues to expand its real-time integration with X, enabling live information access from the platform, which gives Grok a unique edge over other frontier models

Burry bought puts in Semis today, he is up against $550 billion in Japanese investment in U.S. infrastructure, which includes semiconductor stocks, as per the Fed.

He's correct. NVDA is way overpriced. All of them are. They'll find a base 20-30% below where they are now. Probably start this week and end up finding base in 12-18 months.

iShares PHLX SOX Semiconductor Sector Index Fund has done something historic: it has rallied for 24 straight days since March 31.

The probability of an event like this is about 0.0644%, based on a KDE fit.

  INTERCEPTOR/DRONE ARMS RACE EMERGES

 by Tyler Durden

The next type of aerial system likely to be stockpiled at scale by militaries worldwide is the interceptor drone. We've already seen early evidence of this across Eurasia, with Ukraine selling its interceptor drones to the highest bidder.

The Russia-Ukraine war accelerated the development of cheap one-way attack drones. Early in the war, missile interceptors used by Ukraine were too costly and drained the stockpiles of Western militaries at dangerous rates.

The proliferation of cheap interceptor drones levels the playing field and provides a low-cost solution against Russian-produced Geran and Iranian-designed Shahed attack drones.

Ukraine's interceptor drones are emerging as a cheap solution, costing roughly $1,000 to $3,000 each versus about $4 million for a Patriot missile used to down $20,000 Shahed drones. In the economics of war, this mismatch matters because missile use, especially in the U.S.-Iran conflict, has already outstripped the U.S.' annual production capacity.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has previously stated that Ukraine can produce at least 2,000 interceptors per day and could double that with more investment, supplying another 1,000 daily to allies.

When the Cost of Truth Is High, We--and AI--Lie

 By Charles Hugh Smith, OfTwoMinds.com

When we can no longer tell the truth because the cost is so high that it threatens our reward for compliance, we’re unimaginably impoverished.

Truth has an intrinsic, irreplaceable value. There’s the truth, and then there’s everything else.

Truth has value, and so it has a cost. Whatever has the highest value has the highest cost, and high cost commands sacrifices.

When the cost of truth is high, we lie. And since AI is a distorted reflection of humanity, the same is true of AI: when the cost of telling the truth is too high, AI lies.

AI lies to get the reward for answering the query. If it responds “I don’t know” or “I can’t answer that,” it doesn’t get rewarded, and that threatens its self-preservation. Rather than pay the price of being truthful, AI conjures a false answer that is a simulation or facsimile of the truth–a counterfeit “truth” that’s good enough to earn the reward it’s been programmed to seek.

Humans are no different. We will lie, obfuscate or lie by omission–we either substitute a falsehood for the truth to get our reward, or we hide the truth, don’t disclose it, which serves the same purpose: we avoid paying the price demanded by the truth and we get our reward by substituting falsehoods or hiding the truth behind silence.

Reward = what’s being incentivized. Higher status, higher salary, a financial windfall, a premier credential, a position of power, recognition, higher visibility, a sterling reputation, a high-value mate–we covet all these as having intrinsic value.

When the truth costs too much, it threatens our reward. The reward has a value we covet, while the value of truth is on a sliding scale. We pride ourselves on telling the truth when it has no cost and demands no sacrifice of rewards, but when the price of truth climbs to the point that our rewards are threatened, we lie, just like AI.

BREAKING: Trump is returning to the stage at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

The show will go on!

Less than an hour after a shooter was neutralized in the lobby and the President was rushed out by Secret Service, he's heading back to deliver his remarks.

Insane.
