Breaking news: A Ford dealership in Kansas can't release a sold F-250 because a robin moved in first.

An employee at the dealership located outside Kansas City noticed a robin building a nest on the tire of a brand new F-250 that was already sold. The robin laid four eggs and successfully hatched them.

The truck is now stuck on the lot until the chicks fledge, because the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918 makes it illegal to disturb an active nest of any native bird in the United States.

The buyer has been a good sport. The dealership called it the only F-250 in America currently protected under federal law.

Dying from a sinus cold at 41 is extraordinarily uncommon in modern medicine, think lottery ticket rare if you're otherwise healthy.
I'm extremely sad for his family but I'm highly suspicious.
Why wouldn't I be? When the fucking government tried to kill us all and many millions are still walking around with ticking time-bombs in their system.
Everyone is already thinking the "poison shot" the moment anyone young dies.
I'm also thinking why are none of those people in fucking prison yet.

Am I the only one that feels weird about Kyle Busch’s death? I know there’s a lot of viruses spreading right now. What happened when Covid happened? The media and politicians downplayed it. Gas lit people that were getting their news from overseas. From influencers that were watching their way of living, change overnight. They were warning anyone that was watching them, no matter the niche.

I’m not trying to spread conspiracy theories or anything. He was a healthy 41 year old with no prior health problems. (publicly known)

The first report of anything public on his health was May 10th. He radioed his team during the Cup Series race. He requested medical attention for after the race. He was having problems with his sinus during the race.

May 16th: Kyle tells the Atlantic he was still working through a substantial cough.

May 20th: Kyle was at a Chevrolet racing simulator in Concord North Carolina, when he became unresponsive. He was rushed to a hospital nearby in Charlotte.

May 21st: His family announces he has been hospitalized with a severe illness and was undergoing treatment. That same day, he passes away.

So in a 11 day span on the record, he went from being a healthy man living the best life, now he’s dead. It doesn’t make any sense at all unless he was hiding a long term illness, or something like Covid is going on. Take the info I just provided and do your own research, come up with your own conclusions. But personally, I don’t feel right about any of it.

I just learned my buddy Michael died recently, he was in his late 40s.
Bill told me when they cut him open that his liver, kidneys, lungs, basically everything in his torso was riddled with it.
I've been busy since my sister made a daring daylight attempt of dying before last Thanksgiving so I haven't had the opportunity to see him much lately.

Looks like rain this weekend. Supposed to get July hot starting Sunday on. Monday's supposed to be nice, not like me and Kim would be going anywhere anyway.
The Clown Car was runnin' like a raped ape today. Probably since Doc wasn't there to tease by acting up.
Gas was $3.899, Diesel $5.999 on the highway today.
I'm kinda hoping Chris knocks out the yard later today.
If we get one of our rare two day dates, I don't really want to be bothered.

Long story: My ~year 2000 Maytag Neptune Super Stack is giving me fits again.
The last few times I've used it, the clothes are sopping wet after the spin cycles, but there's no water left in the drum. Like the pump is weak/intermittent.
History: It was doing it 10 months ago so I replaced the drain pump (~$100), and it worked fine for about 6 months before it started again.
Resetting the knob to the last spin cycle and running it clears it to where the cloths are damp as should be (so far).
Data point: My buddy Rainman has been bitching that 'genuine' CAT parts that he gets for his wrench to service his pre-eLog 3406e engine are defective/short-lived now.
Conspiracy theory: Cat and Maytag are deliberately sending out crap parts to force you to buy new shit, even crappier.

My washer/dryer are non-electronic, except for what appears to be a 'power board' (SCRs, TRIACs, whatever, no chips) for high current that the old-timey clockwork timer/function knob couldn't handle.
If I have to move that beast again, I'll pull the board and check the edge connector and look for bad solder joints, etc.

It's a son-of a-a-bitch to take apart my downstairs half-bath to get the sumbitch far away from the wall to get to the back and it's heavy as hell.
The last time, I had to shoot some WD-40 under the feet to get that monster back in place.

You got any ideas what I might be missing or suggestions?
I don't want to have to buy a 'new' junk electronic POS that's connected to the internet. Rainman could've retired if he'd quit buying the 'latest and greatest' new shit.
And his wife wasn't an Amazon junkie.

My pump is similar, but without the metal mounting bracket. There's two keyhole slots in the bottom of my unit that the pump twists into. The inlet and outlet hoses hold it in place. The pump is about fist-sized. The black rubber thingy on the outlet is a one-way check valve to keep the drain water from running back down into the drum from the discharge hose. The pump looks like a little plastic turbocharger.

FWIW, the last time I fixed it, before I put the back cover on, I ran it and found a leak from a hose not seated right or something. As I recall, the back cover is only about 18" square and visibility is limited. I probably used a mirror or something to see WTH was going on.

I do not like covering the same scorched earth twice.

hell they don't even want you finding repair parts anymore, there was one place in Corpus that carried appliance parts but the retail off the street buyer paid about double what a DBA repairman paid. I'd go with they are producing crappy replacement parts as soon as any other cause. the washer I have has suspension rods with shock absorbing capsules on the ends that blow out, they are easy to replace but there is a lot of moving stuff to do it. they replaced those big blocks of cement that counterweighted the motor. how are the drain lines off the tub and the pump? hard water and lint will clog them. those barbed plastic drain clearers will be able to clean those tubes. had a rat chew through them on a washer years ago. we had two of those on the boat for a crew of 75, washing clothes on the boat ate into one's 25 gallons of water ration and into one's sleep time, that four-hour period during the dark hours when not on watch.

my oldest son has a '98 tacoma sr 5 it has over 400K, put a rebuilt head on it at 300K and replaced the load bearing disk, pressure plate and throw-out bearing year before last, there was good bit of rust over the gas tank in the bed so when it came time to replace the in tank fuel pump I dug out a sheet of T61 aluminum, cut out the rusted bed section with an angle grinder w/cut off disc replaced the fuel pump without dropping the tank, covered the hole in the bed and went fishing for a few hours.

may have lint in the pump or the pump reached its date. I think you'll be hard pressed to find the chink that would say they proudly made it. run some CLR through the system may take a couple goes, everything else requires removing the pump so at that point it is replace the pump or replace the washing machine
