Did Israel sell the US Patriot systrm to China?

 (Israel denied it BUT:)

Broader Context of Technology Transfers.  Although cleared regarding the Patriot system, Israel has faced other accusations and confirmed instances of transferring military technology to China that concerned the U.S.:

In 2000, Israel canceled the sale of the Phalcon AWACS radar system to China following intense U.S. pressure and threats to cut aid.

In 2013, the head of Israel's Defense Export Control resigned after the U.S. expressed anger over the sale of sensitive cooling technology that ultimately reached China.

Reports from the 1990s and early 2000s allege Israel shared technology related to the Lavi jet and Python missiles with China, though Israel consistently denied transferring U.S.-origin components without permission.

Was the US Patriot system incorporated into the Chinese HQ 9?

The HQ-9 (Hong Qi-9) is a long-range, medium-altitude surface-to-air missile (SAM) system developed by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC).  It is widely considered China’s equivalent to the Russian S-300 and the U.S. Patriot, featuring a hybrid design that incorporates Russian S-300 airframes with American and Israeli guidance and radar technologies.

Key Specifications and Variants

Performance: The system intercepts aircraft, cruise missiles, UAVs, and tactical ballistic missiles at ranges of 120–300 km and altitudes up to 50 km.

Missile Specs: The interceptor travels at Mach 4.2, carries a 180 kg warhead, and uses Track-Via-Missile (TVM) guidance with semi-active radar homing.

Variants: The HQ-9B extends range to 300 km with dual seekers (radar and infrared).  The HQ-9C and HQ-19 are specialized for anti-ballistic missile defense, while the FD-2000 is the export variant.

Network: A standard battery includes mobile launchers (TELs), HT-233 engagement radars, and command posts, capable of tracking 100 targets and engaging 50 simultaneously.

 Operational History and Deployment

Service Entry: The HQ-9 achieved initial operational capability in 1997 and is the backbone of the PLAAF air defense network.

Export: It has been exported to Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Algeria, Turkmenistan, and Egypt (HQ-9B deployed in Sinai in 2025).

Combat Use: The system saw its first confirmed combat use during the 2025 India–Pakistan conflict, where it was operated by the Pakistani military.

(So the HQ-9 was sold to Iran and Pakistan. And it incorporated the Patriot system which Israel did sell to them)

What US weapons systems did Israel sell to China?

Israel has been accused of selling or transferring US-origin military technology to China through unauthorized re-exports, a practice that has caused significant diplomatic tension with Washington.  Key systems and technologies implicated in these transfers include:

Lavi Fighter Jet: Plans and associated US technology for the discontinued, largely US-funded Lavi fighter-bomber were sold to China, aiding in the development of China’s J-10 fighter aircraft.

Air-to-Air Missiles: Israel transferred technology for the Python missile series (including Python-3 and Python-4), which incorporated US Sidewinder components and helmet-mounted sight technology developed by American and Israeli firms.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs): Israel sold Harpy loitering munitions (suicide drones) to China, and later faced US objections over upgrades to these drones using new US-origin technology.

Radar and Warning Systems: Israel progressed the sale of the Phalcon Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) to China in 2000, though the deal was ultimately canceled under intense US pressure.

Other Technologies: Reports cite the transfer of US stealth technology (via the STAR-1 cruise missile), surface-to-air missile technology, and miniature refrigeration systems (cryo-coolers) used in electro-optics and missiles.

While Israel has officially denied some of these specific allegations or claimed they involved "mishandling" rather than intentional violations, US intelligence agencies and congressional reports have consistently documented a "systematic and growing pattern" of unauthorized Israeli re-exports of US-origin defense technology to Beijing since the late 1980s

 Also from my Brave browser.

So the new NDAA allows Israel complete access to US advanced military secrets. From what I've heard the Chinese J-20

is not that good. China would love the get the F-22 and America's advanced research on the F-47. The Pentagon

has flatly refused to give the F-22 to Israel because they know it will be sold to China.

MY CONCLUSION IS THAT ANYONE WHO SUPPORTS THE INCLUSION OF ISRAEL DIRECTLY INTO US

MILITARY RESEARCH IS A TRAITOR. TIME WE STARTED A NEW PARTY.

=============================================

The Whig Party and the Know-Nothing Party (also known as the American Party) were the primary major political parties that went extinct prior to World War II.

The Whig Party dominated the Second Party System alongside the Democrats until it collapsed in the mid-1850s due to internal divisions over slavery and the passage of the Kansas-Nebraska Act.

The Know-Nothing Party briefly replaced the Whigs as the second major party in the mid-1850s, capitalizing on anti-immigrant sentiment, but dissolved by the late 1850s as the slavery issue overshadowed its platform.

Earlier, the Federalist Party and the Democratic-Republican Party (the First Party System) dissolved or faded in the early 19th century, with their members eventually forming the basis for the Whigs and Democrats.

While other significant groups like the Free Soil Party and the Populist Party (People's Party) were influential, they are generally categorized as third parties rather than the second major party in a two-party system.  The Republican Party emerged from the ashes of the Whigs to become the dominant anti-slavery force, solidifying the two-party system that persists today.

(The Free Soil party folded into the Republican party. )

The Free Soil Party was a minor but influential American political party active from 1848 to 1854 that primarily opposed the expansion of slavery into the western territories acquired after the Mexican-American War.  Formed in Buffalo, New York, it was a coalition of anti-slavery Democrats (Barnburners), Conscience Whigs, and members of the Liberty Party.

The party’s central platform was encapsulated in its slogan: “Free Soil, Free Speech, Free Labor, and Free Men.” While not strictly abolitionist in seeking to end slavery where it already existed, Free Soilers argued that slavery was economically detrimental to free white laborers and politically dangerous.  Key leaders included Martin Van Buren (1848 presidential candidate), Salmon P. Chase, and John P. Hale.

The party dissolved in 1854 after the passage of the Kansas-Nebraska Act, which repealed the Missouri Compromise and outraged Northern voters.  Most Free Soil members merged into the newly formed Republican Party, which adopted the Free Soil goal of halting slavery's expansion and became the dominant opposition to the Democratic Party in the subsequent decades

The Israelis are only concerned with what is best for Israel.

Isn't it high time the U.S. took the same attitude? ;)
