The brain burns 90% of the oxygen and 30% of the calories.

The cerebellum (Latin for "little brain") is a major structure of the hindbrain located at the base of the skull, beneath the cerebral hemispheres and behind the brainstem.  Although it accounts for only about 10% of the brain's total volume, it contains over 50% of the brain's neurons, organized in a highly folded cortex known as the cerebellar cortex.

Japan and UK bond cracks are quietly killing foreign demand for US debt

Foreign buyers stepping back from US debt market.

This means more money printing and yield control later.

Pain moves from bond markets to currencies and inflation.

Japan holds about $1.21 trillion US Treasuries.

UK holds about $937 billion.

Both now face rising yields at home.

Japanese 10-year and 20-year JGB yields at 30-year highs.

BOJ reducing bond purchases while government wants more spending.

Private banks cannot absorb all new supply.

Weak yen adds pressure on carry trades.

Americans are about to learn a very harsh lesson in international finance and what happens when debt liquidity dries up...

Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption is under 4.5% after 3 years, only 1% use it weekly, yet prices went up

Microsoft has spent three years bolting Copilot onto every corner of Windows 11 and Office, but the AI’s adoption numbers show that none of it stuck. Less than 5% of Microsoft’s half a billion commercial Microsoft 365 customers pay for Copilot features, and funnily enough, these users just got hit with a price hike that bundles even more AI into the bill whether they asked for it or not.

Meta Platforms could face an unprecedented $1.4 trillion in penalties after four states accused the tech giant of deliberately designing Facebook and Instagram to addict young users while misleading the public about the platforms' safety.

The eye-watering figure was disclosed by Meta itself in a recent court filing responding to attorneys general's proposed penalty calculations. The total is close to the company's roughly $1.5 trillion market value.

Russia set to RETURN to the Olympics at 2028 Games in Los Angeles: Ban on country is lifted despite ongoing Ukraine war

A ban on Russian athletes was imposed in 2023 following the invasion of Ukraine. As a result, only a tiny number of Russians were able to compete at the Paris Olympics and Milan Winter Games, as neutrals and on the condition that they had not shown any support for the war, which remains ongoing.

However, the ban has now been lifted, paving the way for hundreds of Russians to compete in Los Angeles in two years' time.

The IOC has said it will decide in the future whether Russians will be able to compete under their own flag and anthem, but insiders have told Daily Mail Sport that they see the granting of such permission as 'a formality'.

Activists Push California To Recognize "Black English" In Preschool Classrooms

Posted by Tyler Durden, Via American Greatness,

Progressive California education activists are urging the state to recognize “black English” in preschool classrooms, claiming the approach would strengthen literacy development and affirm the language spoken by many black children.

Black Californians United for Early Care & Education (BlackECE), a nonprofit advocacy organization, is promoting what it describes as an effort to challenge “harmful language hierarchies and affirm black English as a legitimate, rule-governed language rooted in black history, culture, and community.”

The group also seeks to “address how language bias shows up in early learning spaces–and how it can be dismantled.”

Ashley Williams, a co-founder of BlackECE, said the initiative is intended to ensure children feel their voices are respected regardless of how they speak.

“I don’t want my son to walk into any room and feel like his voice is not valued or his perspective can’t be heard because he’s not saying it one way or the other,” Williams told PBS.

Williams also reflected on her own experiences, saying speaking black English came with embarrassment because of its slang and grammatical differences.

She said she often felt pressure to “talk white” instead of speaking in the way that felt most natural to her.

BlackECE has developed a 10-point policy agenda focused on black children, families and educators, including proposals related to reparations and early childhood education.

The organization’s campaign follows California’s 2020 plan encouraging early dual-language learning and support for bilingual children. BlackECE argues that black English should also be recognized as part of those efforts.

Trump-Appointed Federal Judge SMASHES Ruling by Foreign-Born Activist Judge — REINSTATES Critical Voter System to Root Out Illegal Alien Voters

A Trump-appointed federal judge in Florida has OVERRULED a highly controversial order by a far-left, foreign-born activist judge in Washington D.C., officially REINSTATING President Donald Trump’s powerhouse election security system.

The Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) system upgrades, which allow patriot states to instantly screen voter rolls and purge illegal aliens, is back online.

Last March, President Trump signed an executive order aimed at preserving and protecting the integrity of US elections.

“Free, fair, and honest elections unmarred by fraud, errors, or suspicion are fundamental to maintaining our constitutional Republic. The right of American citizens to have their votes properly counted and tabulated, without illegal dilution, is vital to determining the rightful winner of an election,” Trump’s executive order said.

“Under the Constitution, State governments must safeguard American elections in compliance with Federal laws that protect Americans’ voting rights and guard against dilution by illegal voting, discrimination, fraud, and other forms of malfeasance and error. Yet the United States has not adequately enforced Federal election requirements that, for example, prohibit States from counting ballots received after Election Day or prohibit non-citizens from registering to vote,” Trump said.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, on June 22, 2026, Judge Sparkle Sooknanan issued her 75-page crackpot ruling blocking the Trump Administration’s common-sense updates to the SAVE database.

She whined that the federal government had “knowingly trampled on the privacy rights of American citizens in a manner that threatens the sacred right to vote” and accused the administration of “haphazardly combined and repurposed” data.

Sooknanan, a Biden appointee with a long record of radical rulings, had already blocked President Trump from deporting Guatemalan children back to their home country when Guatemala itself requested their return. She also shut down an FTC investigation into far-left Media Matters. Now she’s trying to protect illegal aliens on American voter rolls.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier and officials from other states had a December 2025 settlement agreement with DHS, approved by U.S. District Judge T. Kent Wetherell II, that required the SAVE system to remain fully functional with bulk uploads, full and last-four SSN searches, and rapid responses.

When Sooknanan’s DC ruling forced DHS to disable those exact features to comply, Uthmeier went back to court to enforce the deal.

Judge Wetherell stepped up and delivered. Judge Wetherell granted an emergency motion filed by Florida and several other states, directing DHS to immediately reinstate access to the SAVE system’s bulk-upload and Social Security number (SSN) search capabilities.

Judge Wetherell wrote:

“Plaintiffs’ emergency motion to enforce settlement agreement is GRANTED, and Defendants shall immediately comply… by reinstating Plaintiffs’ access to the bulk-upload and SSN-search features in the SAVE system.”

Wetherell didn’t simply order DHS to comply with the prior settlement agreement. He also took direct aim at the legal reasoning behind Judge Sooknanan’s decision.

The Florida judge wrote that the court had already implicitly determined the SAVE modifications were lawful when it approved the settlement agreement and made that conclusion explicit in Monday’s order, stating that the bulk-upload and SSN-search features do not violate either the Social Security Act or the Privacy Act.

The judge further rejected arguments that DHS should wait for appellate proceedings before restoring the system, noting that Florida, Ohio, and Iowa presented unrebutted evidence that they were suffering ongoing harm because they could no longer verify citizenship for voter registration and other state programs.

According to the order, Florida argued that disabling the SAVE features prevented the state from carrying out laws requiring verification of registered voters’ citizenship.

Ohio raised similar concerns, while Iowa argued the changes impaired its ability to verify citizenship for professional license applicants.

Judge Wetherell concluded that these sovereign state interests outweighed the concerns raised by advocacy groups challenging the SAVE system.

He specifically wrote that the states’ interests in ensuring non-citizens are not on voter rolls and that unlawfully present aliens are not receiving professional licenses outweighed the competing interests advanced in the D.C. litigation.

Super El Niño Could Trigger Major Coal Boom In India

Authored by Tsvetana Paraskova via OilPrice.com,

The super El Niño weather phenomenon this year will significantly boost India's demand for coal-fired power generation over the next 12 months, as a generation gap could occur with higher temperatures, the Finland-based think tank Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA) said in a report on Monday.

India, the world's second-biggest coal importer and user after China, continues to rely on coal despite a booming renewable energy sector. The Super El Niño could vindicate India's approach not to give up on coal.
