Health officials say they are investigating potential sources of exposure
DEFIANCE COUNTY, Ohio (WPTA) - The Defiance County Health Department says it is investigating a recent increase in cyclosporiasis cases in county residents.
People become infected with the severe stomach illness by consuming food or water contaminated with the parasite Cyclospora cayetanensis.
Fresh produce like berries, leafy greens, cilantro, basil, and other herbs have been commonly associated with the infections, but health officials say the source of exposure in Defiance County has yet to be identified.
The department says it is working closely with area health departments and health care systems to pinpoint possible sources of exposure.
Symptoms of cyclosporiasis usually begin two to 14 days after exposure and include diarrhea described as “explosive” or watery, stomach cramps or abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fatigue, dehydration, and weight loss.
The department asks that anyone experiencing persistent diarrhea or any of the other above symptoms contact their healthcare providers, who may order laboratory testing to determine whether Cyclospora is the cause of illness.
They say early diagnosis and treatment can help shorten the duration of the sickness. Without treatment, symptoms can last several days to weeks and may recur over time.

The department encourages residents to take the following precautions:
When produce is intended to be cooked, cook it thoroughly. Heating foods to 160°F (71°C) is the only known method to reliably inactivate Cyclospora parasites.
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after handling food.
Wash fresh fruits and vegetables under clean, running water before eating, cutting, or preparing them.
Gently scrub firm produce, such as melons, cucumbers, potatoes, and apples, with clean hands or a clean produce brush.
Clean cutting boards, utensils, countertops, and other food preparation surfaces before and after use.
Keep fresh produce separate from raw meat, poultry, seafood, and their juices to prevent cross-contamination.
Refrigerate perishable foods promptly.
Avoid eating produce that appears spoiled or damaged
Washing produce is one of the most important steps to help reduce the risk of many foodborne illnesses, the department says, although it may not eliminate every possible contaminant.
"Our goal is to identify potential sources of exposure while also reminding residents that simple food safety practices can help reduce the risk of many foodborne illnesses.
As we continue our investigation, we encourage everyone to take precautions when handling fresh produce and to contact their healthcare provider if they experience persistent gastrointestinal illness.”
Health Commissioner for the Defiance County Health Department Jamie Gerken.122 cases of the parasite have been reported in Indiana as of July 10, the epidemiology director of foodborne and enteric diseases with the Indiana State Department of Health told the Chicago Tribune.
According to the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department, 907 positive cases have been reported in northwest Ohio. For more information on the illness and food safety, visit their website here.
As of July 9, the CDC reported a total of 843 positive cases across the U.S. They note that states are likely to report higher case counts than CDC data reflects, saying they are working closely with states to update their numbers.

I looked a map of the spread yesterday, basically what amounts to a Biowarfare map. Ground Zero seems to be in NE Ohio or E Michigan's lower peninsula. I smell Bill Gates and his ilk.
I should check to see if they're playing "The Andromeda Strain" or similar movies on EweToob Free Movies. They love telegraphing their plans. Netflix was pumping the movie "Outbreak" and others just before Covid.
Defiance is in NW Ohio, just east of FW.
I guess I'll avoid the produce section when I go to the store this week. Wouldn't want to poison me and Kimmy next weekend.
It's always some damn epidemic now...

IYKYK...
You need to start reading labels…
Insects contain CHITIN which cannot be processsed by our gut. But chitin is a polysacharide which is very tasty to cancer, parasites, fungi and pretty-much all what give you sickness.
Chitin is a building part of them!
Also they contain METAMORPHIC steroids especially ecdysterone.
This is not a food for mammals.
Only BIRDS can process insect food in safe conditions. Birds digestion apparatus is
COMPLETELY different as ours..
…why are there crickets in this? FFS
I'm supposed to believe a sitting senator's net worth is half of mine or one-eighth of my GF's? Sure Jan.
The might've left out the hundreds of millions of GayZ's kickbacks.

Cows are responsible for dozens of human deaths worldwide each year, with estimates ranging from 20–30 in the U.S., around 5 in the U.K., and dozens more across other countries.United StatesIn the U.S., cows cause an average of 22–27 deaths per year, primarily due to blunt force trauma from trampling or kicking. Most victims are farmworkers, and incidents often occur during routine handling of cattle on farms. Some deaths also result from deliberate attacks or accidents involving bulls, which can display aggressive behavior
Annual Bison-Related Human Fatalities On average, bison kill about 1–2 people per year in the United States, with most fatalities occurring in areas with large bison populations and high human visitation, such as Yellowstone National Park

I don't recall my mother's having a $10 button or a +/- function.
What could've possibly been a $10 item in the 60/70s? A canister of table salt was 3 cents.
I haven't had fast food since Kimmy and I got back together in Nov 2023...
The Berlin Wall came down in 1989, USSR in late 1991.
Grade-school English, at best...
Before the 2008 financial crash. Sticker on my 2013 Toyota Tacoma worktruck was only $20k.
I think that's an Antonov something-or-other. The last one in existence was destroyed by GayZ not too long ago.
Utter nonsense, and to think Bernie's N/W is equal to mine and less than Kim's is BS too. His 3 or 4 houses are worth more than that.
The city and ins. co. say my $25k (new, 1980) hovel is worth ~150k now (I built it). I wouldn't give 10k for it.
The house I built for my mother, step-father and handicapped sister (sometime between 1995 and 911 changed everything was <$200K).
Probably $600k to a million now. Dumbass ex sold it for $129k in 2014 after the divorce. I'd have given her 1.5x to 2x that. Cash.
Mine was supposed to be some big fkn gov't secret between 1980-1995. My wife, family, didn't even know.
Kimmy knew. My dick went from 7" to 12". She probably came back to me in 2023 just to hear the stories. My older sister knows now.
That probably explained a lot of inconsistencies in my BS story. Most folks still don't believe it, which is fine too.
My buddy Rainman's 3-tit pneumatic dry tanker (not shown) and longhorn Pete (close to 2 million mi.) is busy hauling lime dust for BS windmill and data center projects.
I told him to quit and enjoy all his toys and SS. "My wife's Amazon habit won't let me." (She' a bitch)
Whatta ya suppose that money's going towards?
Unimog. An honest-to-byGod 2-door P/U truck.
Too F'in bad...
"Papers" were called something else in the day for me.
Lt. Cols on up to brass hats: " I'm not listening to some 20-30 y/o punk about what to do!"
Killed a lot of guys.

We both failed. I'm not sure about the body counts. Fauchi and Kim killed 10 million plus in the US as of 2023.
I was involved in one killing, in Russia [USSR] and one in 2008 on my property.

I hope those food riots start pretty soon, I've got shelf-life concerns. I have cans of powder that I bought between 1992 -1996, a Lee "O" frame press still in the box from 1998.
overcast all day today with more Saharan dust, only six of the birds laid today, the hens spend most of the day chasing the shade and digging until the find cool earth to nap in.

In 2021, CNN anchor Drew Griffin looks Dr. Rashid Buttar in the eye and says:
“I’m vaccinated. You think there is a ticking time bomb in me and I’m going to die?”
Dr. Buttar’s chilling reply:
“I hope not, but I’ll be happy to meet you in three years and see how you’re doing.”
Drew Griffin was diagnosed with cancer shortly after the shot… and died of TURBO CANCER in 2022.
He never made it to that three-year check-in.
This is what happens when warnings are mocked. Millions more are walking time bombs.
