I am assuming they are talking about the North Korean Hwasong 18 or 19.  (Hwasong means Mars, the war god.)

18 vs 19. The Hwasong 19 is designed for MIRVs. The Koreans might be dumping their Hwasong 18s which would good enough

The Iranians will cut down the range so it can still Diego Garcia and US bases in Greece and Italy.  They can increase the warhead 

from 1.5 tons to 3 tons.

The goal is to take the US out of the war  permanently. Those missiles could wipe out Diego Garcia so we could no longer blockade the Persian Gulf.

The existing Iranian missiles could wipe out the remaining US airbases in Israel and Jordan.

Iran already has silent drones which can sink American ships. The US would respond with nuclear weapons if the

Iranians sank an aircraft carrier. So what they could do is to take out Diego Garcia so the US cannot resupply their

ships in the Gulf. They can take out one smaller cruiser or destroyer and then another so the US has to leave.

The IRGC is shifting from defense to offense.  Game Over.

The US will be forced to cut off all military aid to Israel so that Iran, Pakistan and Turkiye can deal with Israel
