Must spent some $44 billion to save free speech, and it just took a few short years for that money to be flushed down the toilet.  I'm now officially banned for life.  The offense provided after I appealed was "inauthentic behaviors", and reading that, the most I could have done as a violation is reposting faked content, something I never knowingly do even if it supports my views

What I think did it was my very last post simply affirming "Yes, it's a genocide", agreeing with someone being interviewed who said the same thing.

Yes, the Zionists lobby is a powerful force.  This is how they work.  X is now on my shit list.

>>I'm now officially banned for life.<<

I've been 'banned for life' a couple, three times now.
They'll back down if you get specific about what you said and explain how it's not a problem.

I keep hoping Thom Massie becomes Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and that the moneyed globalist elites are really on my side because I am pigment unprivileged guy from Indiana. I usually try to stay out of SouthoftheOhio politics, but Massie is perfect example of how Israel and AIPAC have entirely too much control of the United States core institutions. Trump screwed Massie for his Likud buddies. Or something :)

I never joined any the social media site for the plain fact I'm asocial and often start conversations with "I don't mean to sound rude but,"

The old 4um site had these tags you could set up which get appended to everything you post.  I could set up something similar here so every time you post something, it's auto prefixed with a statement like that...

Could be a convenient time saver.

Yeah he bought it to permit a little dissent on some things to quiet resistance to a Zionist crackdown.

This usually doesn't happen to small accounts though without coordinated reporting.

Being facetious, I'm sure.

Here's the email they sent:

---

Your account was reported and has been suspended for violating the X Rules.

 Specifically, for:

Violating our rules against inauthentic behaviors.

You may not use our services to engage in inauthentic activity that undermines the integrity of X.

---

I appealed as best I could, but obviously they didn't actually direct me to any specific post or repost at all, so they really didn't give me anything to actually appeal.

---

They then responded to the appeal with:

---

We have reviewed your appeal request for account

Our support team has determined that a violation of our Rules did take place, specifically:

Violating our Rules against inauthentic behaviors.

We considered the additional information provided and decided an overturn of our original decision is not warranted in this case. Therefore, we will not overturn our decision to lock your account.

In order to restore account functionality, you can resolve the violations by logging into your account and completing the on-screen instructions.

 ---

I then log in, and find no on-screen instructions are provided.  Looked everywhere too.  There are none.

A lot like what happened with FB. Logged in after a few months absence to find I had "violated community guidelines" but again without citing any comment I'd made as being the offending one and no opportunity to appeal.  That was just before the 2020 general election.  I had been both challenging the standard covid narratives and cheering for Trump.  One of the two was found distasteful. I have never been given any temporary punishment at all on either platform.

That sounds like the generic "All is Forgiven" routine that got my account restored.
As I recall, it just consisted of me deleting the one-word offensive post "Woodchipper." that had their panties in a twist.

>>I then log in, and find no on-screen instructions are provided.<<

I don't remember, but it might've taken a couple days for that to get into the system to remedy my indiscreet mention of an arborist's implement.
I doubt there's a 'Grand Zionist Conspiracy' to silence you for a viewpoint held by half of X users.

You're just guilty of lighting the fuse of some low-T incel soyboi's tampon and it went off in his butt; AKA, butthurt.
X's utility is about zero without an active account.

I didn't sign up on X until Feb2023, after Elon fired about 7/8ths of the X staff and got some operational control of the platform.
It's a good way to see what the herd/flock is thinking.

4um, ZeroHedge and X are the only social media sites I'm involved in.

I kinda wondered if deleting the post might magically make things okay.  So just tried it but it seems that option is not available while the account is in it's suspended state.  I cannot do anything at all it seems.  Not even deactivate or shut down the account. Everything is off limits now.

It's been awhile, but I think they sent me an email with a link to click to start the process.
As I recall, there was a couple of captchas then they switched to a thing to delete it.

I honestly think this was a case of me being on silent probation of sorts and their just waiting for me to unknowingly and without warning to cross a line their internal policies could use to ban me.  In all the time I've been there, since not long after Musk bought it so it's been a few years, I've had a few posts get flagged.  I appealed one and won, and maybe 2 others that I lost on appeal.  And then posts stopped getting flagged.  I did notice a drop in reach & such which is why I just stopped paying the minimal monthly subscription.  And then I basically stopped commenting altogether, just doing reposts & likes, since my comments were basically not getting circulated anyway. In conversations with Grok, it's apparent that the AI is not convinced there's a genocide, treading the claim as debated but not substantiated as it measures substantiation by what mainstream media & government are willing to conclude.  And since the notion gets disrespected as evident on the X news interview thing I posted above, the genocide claim is left in a permanent state of official denial.

I do think the banning occurred while I was online.  One moment being able to repost things and moments later, seeing I was not, so it seems it was AI triggered, and given my very last action there was openly agreeing that Israel is committing genocide, that seems the likely offending element.  But again, like with Facebook, they never cited the specific post that they considered offensive.  And this after my main practice was not to comment but to just repost.  No, I've never had a temp suspension from X before, again like with Facebook.  I've only had a few, maybe 3 posts in all the time I've been there be flagged.  So this is very unexpected, very sudden, and warningless on the part of X.

I'll check in a few days to see if their system catches up and offers the instructions about restoration.  But I won't hold my breath and even if restoration is offered on the condition I stop criticizing Israel, X will remain on my shit list just like Facebook has been for the last 6 years.
