I have to ask… why is Madonna, at 68 years old, still walking onto the stage dressed in a corset and in an outfit that seems designed to recreate the same provocative image she had decades ago? I understand that Madonna has always pushed boundaries part of her stage persona, but at some point, I think an artist can evolve beyond that.

And honestly, this particular outfit is not doing her any favors. The proportions make her torso look incredibly short, and the whole look reminds me so much of that cartoon character that I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw the comparison. Once you see it, you really can’t unsee it!

Madonna is a true pop-culture icon. She has nothing left to prove. She broke barriers, reinvented herself countless times. For me, there is something much more graceful about knowing when it’s time to step away and let your legacy speak for itself. But when the entire image seems focused on recreating the Madonna of 30 or 40 years ago, I have to wonder if it’s time to retire!?

So the interesting question isn’t simply:

“Should people eat less meat?”

People can make that choice for themselves.

The bigger question is:

Who gets to decide how the next generation is persuaded to change its behaviour — and how much influence should wealthy foundations and strategically funded organisations have over that process?

Because once food stops being just food and becomes a project involving identity, culture, influencers, schools, public procurement and future generations, it’s worth paying attention to exactly who’s funding it, who’s designing it and what the stated objectives actually are.
