The news is all bad today.

Talkin' to my sister today put me in a foul mood.

Observe the timeline:

-Zelensky throws a fit and refuses to sign minerals deal at White House.

-Zelensky runs off to London to beg for money from Europe, they give him a minuscule amount of funds and tell him to go beg Trump for forgiveness.

-Trump says that if Zelensky does not come to the table ready for peace, then he will “not be around very long”. Hours later, Trump cuts off all weapons sales, aid, funding, stockpiles, etc., until Zelensky is committed to a ceasefire and peace deal.

-Zelensky is ready to commit to a peace deal, first thing this morning.

You just witnessed the Art of the Deal play out in real time.

Trump is holding all the cards, and forced Zelensky to submit. Zelensky was trying to play games and keep this war going, so Trump dropped the hammer on him. Trump essentially told Zelensky ‘you either work with me on stopping this war, or we will let Putin kill you’.

You are watching a master at work.

Dan, I'm pinging you to this so I can find it for Kim when she gets here later today or tomorrow.
I wonder if she even knows what's going on. Hospital City is a huge presence in Ft. Wayne, let alone all over Indiana & the tri-state area.

Save Heritage Indiana @HeritageIndiana · Sep 28

BREAKING: Fort Wayne's The Journal Gazette declines to cover foreign invasion of Parkview Health, despite ten messages back and forth with us since March.

We're sharing this story for transparency sake. The foreign invasion of our medical system is all over X, but are we in a bubble?

In at least case, yes. Despite our repeated efforts, one local newspaper doesn't seem interested in covering this story.

It started Mar 28, 2026 when we emailed this to one of their reporters:

--

Hi [NAME REDACTED],

I'm Daniel, co-founder of Save Heritage Indiana - the only grassroots nonprofit in Indiana organized specifically around opposition to mass immigration.

I wanted to flag something that may interest you: 14 of the 15 residents in a Fort Wayne internal medicine program are from foreign countries, and 12 of the 15 are from Pakistan: https://x.com/MaryBowdenMD/status/2037905486020747410

Given the local jobs and workforce angle, I thought it might be worth a look - particularly how this affects American medical graduates competing for residency slots in our own community.

I'm happy to serve as a source or point you toward additional contacts if this is something you'd want to explore.

Thanks for your time,

Daniel

Mary Talley Bowden MD [Houston, TX] @MaryBowdenMD · Mar 28

This person kindly responded a day later.

They said it was a "a very interesting observation" but that they were busy with a hectic schedule.

So we thanked them... and followed up in May:

--

Hi [NAME REDACTED] -

Hope it's going well. Any interested in the original tip I submitted Mar 28?

Also, just today, someone from FW who taught there for 30 years reached out to me. They want to be interviewed about their experiences witnessing how dramatically the schools have changed since the Burmese migration [invasion]. I could share her contact info if you're interested.

Best,

Daniel

Again, this person responded kindly, but they said there's, "so much going on now in the Fort Wayne community" and they have more timely stories to cover.

It's true local newspapers have been decimated in the last decades. We don't necessarily fault them for not covering this story, but we wanted to let our audience on X know that in this case a local newspaper is not covering this story.

We followed up six months later, on Sept 21:

--

Hi [NAME REDACTED] -

I thought of our email thread again when I saw the infographic below. Any chance you or a colleague would like to dig into this? If so, I could help make introduction to sources.

Best,

Daniel

Over the next few days I followed up with a few more bits (as this wider story got more traction on X):

--

Here’s more detail:

And another email the next day:

--

This discussion has picked up steam in the last 24 hours, and Parkview is trending nationally on X:

And a third follow up:

--

One more. This one is viral on X too:

https://x.com/jobsnowpaper/status/2104227572653453516?s=46

I don’t mean to bug you. Are you still interested in this story?

Best,

Daniel

Ultimately, today, one of their editors responded:

--

Hi, Daniel.

[NAMED REDACTED] passed along your emails to me because I am the [relevant] editor...

I appreciate your pitch and updates about this idea, but we're not interested in pursuing this story. We have a lot of content to handle with a small team, and we just can't get to everything.

I hope you have a great week.

Thank you,

[NAMED REDACTED]

 There you go.

As a 100% volunteer team, we followed up diligently with a local newspaper over six months.

We were friendly, persistent...

Ultimately they won't want to cover this story.

Remember local newspapers have been decimated lately. They are a fraction of what they once were.

That leaves us X.

Will we allow the foreign invasion to continue?

In this case at least, it looks like some of the only people fighting it in Indiana are us (100% volunteer), @Indy_reporter_

(100% volunteer), and @AndrewIrelandIN.

That's the state of things.

Parkview Health Residency Draws Notice for High Number of International Doctors [Summary of articles]

Last updated Sep 22

The internal medicine residency program at Parkview Health in Indiana has most of its physicians—35 out of 47 across early years—from abroad, including 16 from Pakistan and others from Caribbean nations, India, and Sudan. Critics highlight reliance on J-1 visas and programs like Conrad 30, which allow foreign graduates to work in shortage areas after waiving home-country return rules, arguing it limits spots for American trainees amid a 1997 cap on Medicare-funded residencies. Supporters say these doctors fill vital gaps in underserved communities where U.S. physicians are scarce, reflecting broader debates on medical workforce needs.

This story is a summary of posts on X and may evolve over time. Grok can make mistakes, verify its outputs.

If this story was so 'viral', I'm not sure how I missed it. I don't understand what most of this is about. I need Doc to translate.

Maybe it's nothing. - Pac

**Medical Tuesday.**

There is a program called Conrad 30. Most people have never heard of it. Hospitals use it every year.

Here is the simple explanation of what is going on...

A foreign doctor often enters the U.S. on a training visa called a J-1. The old rule said when training ends, go home for two years. Conrad 30 waives that rule. Each state gets 30 of those waivers a year. The doctor agrees to work three years in a place labeled underserved. Then the hospital can keep them on a work visa.

[Maybe that's the program Aleena/McMurphy was on, but she trained as a nurse, not a physician. I don't recall her ever saying she went home. Maybe I was harboring an illegal alien. Eh, it was worth it. She left for Lithuania in Feb2023]

Did you know they can then complain and get that waivered and then move on to wherever they want and most end up at these hospitals? Less than 15% of rural areas are served by them yet they should all be served by the numbers.

That is how a training visit becomes a career here without Congress adding a single new residency seat for an American graduate.

Now look at the bill with the long name. Conrad State 30 and Physician Access Reauthorization Act. 2025. Klobuchar and Collins in the Senate. Valadao and Schneider in the House. H.R. 1585 and S. 709.

It does not train more American doctors. It keeps Conrad alive, lets states hand out more than 30 waivers, makes it easier for the doctor’s family to stay, and moves those physicians up the line for a green card.

The hospital groups are on the letter. American Hospital Association. AMA. Teaching hospitals. They call it a rural fix. It has been the “temporary” fix for 30 years.

Meanwhile the 1997 cap on Medicare-paid residency slots is still sitting there. American grads still hit that wall. The bill in front of Congress is more waivers, not more seats.

If your town cannot find a doctor, ask why they will expand the foreign waiver before they will fund the American graduate already carrying the debt.

Bookmark if you see the pattern.

Quote or repost your observation.

Comment below.

If Klobuchar was involved, it was a bad deal for America. I don't know about Collins, Valadao or Schneider.

A Texas man walked up to a Bank of America ATM and found a bag containing $128,514 in cash sitting right on top of the machine, along with another bag containing 19 checks.

Instead of taking it, he noticed information on the bag that made him think it might belong to a nearby Chick-fil-A. So this dude actually drove over there trying to return $128,000.

The restaurant told him it wasn’t theirs, so he called the police. Turns out a Brinks technician had accidentally left the money behind after servicing the ATM. Police counted it and every single dollar was still there.

I gotta give this guy credit. Finding $20 on the ground is one thing. Finding a bag with $128,000 in cash and immediately trying to track down the owner is a whole different test of character.

Be honest: Would you have returned the $128,000?

I wouldn't have called the FWPD, they're crooked. I probably would've given it to Chris [Sheriff's Dept.] and let him handle it however he saw fit.

BREAKING: The G-7 is agreeing to release 100 MILLION barrels of crude oil and fuel from emergency stockpiles as governments scramble to bring down soaring diesel prices.

President Trump says European nations will begin releasing a "massive amount" of their diesel reserves immediately.

The agreement also takes a U.S. diesel export ban off the table for now, with G-7 countries pledging not to restrict the flow of energy and petroleum products between partner nations.

The move comes as wars in the Middle East and Ukraine have hammered global diesel supplies, sending prices to record highs in the U.S. and Europe.

The Baltic states are preparing for WAR, with or without America...

Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are hardening their borders.

They're also expanding civilian defense forces and preparing for scenarios in which Russia attacks before U.S. help arrives.

The Atlantic reports that Baltic planners are even gaming out delayed or absent American support.

Lithuania alone is expected to spend 5.38% of GDP on defense this year, while NATO continues expanding forces, air defenses and anti-drone capabilities across its eastern flank.

The strategy is increasingly clear: make any Russian incursion extraordinarily costly from the first hours, regardless of who shows up to help.

Japan was nice when we were there in the late 80s/early 90s. Me and Pam were in Tokyo and the other really big city, Osaka, I think. Those big cities aren't for me, though.

I posted something on this the other day.

Foreign Docs are concentrated at certain hospitals.

A lot of unqualified doctors got through on affirmative action.

The whole collapses next year when the planned destruction begins.

The Parkview Group is so big now, and with the local media blackout going on, I doubt she's even heard of it.
Alas, I've got to wait another 24 hours before I see her. Why can't the jeets work on weekends?

>>The whole [thing] collapses next year when the planned destruction begins.<<

It's going on now. This makes the Cold War look like baby's blocks.

The EU GloboHomos are going to make Vlad Putin sneeze and the whole world is going to catch cold.
It's scary, TBH.

We've got joos, muzz and commies going on in a slow-grade coup de etat. We'll be lucky to be alive in a month.

'Former' CIA spook [officer] advice. Most of it is good. We were trained by the same people. He probably separated when it got too gay also. I was long gone before Obama. I'm almost ashamed by the way they are now.

I almost thought I might have to pull my gun a couple times yesterday. It was nothing, thankfully.

This must be from a movie or something. Not sure which one, but it seems like my past life.
The shining a flashlight in a guy's eyes seemed very kind before blowing him away.

I'll let Pam know that one when I meet her again in Valhalla after I pick up my kids at the Rainbow bridge.

Princess and Gyro will be damn glad to see me after what my ex-wife did to them after the divorce. There was a lot more doggos, but they died in our arms, not a cage in a basement. Alone.

II was hoping Kim would be here. She puts in way too many hours. Way too many.

I can't believe Kim found me again when things went tango-uniform in her life. It was very flattering that she looked for me. It's not my looks keeping her coming back. Probably the cooking or cunning linguistics.

It's been a hard ride, but I sure didn't think I'd get this far down the road. Probably from not listening to fucking doctors and nurses and not listening to their BS advice. I did everything wrong, smoking, drinking, bacon, salt, butter, meat, odd hours, turning the 'food pyramid' upside-down, loose women and debauchery. I did good. Pam kept me away from the lady-boys when we we in Thailand. She did good too. I miss her.
