After Jack Ruby (Rubenstein) shot and killed Lee Harvey Oswald in Dallas, a reporter asked Ruby, "Jack, how could this have happened?"
Ruby replied, "If Adlai Stephenson were Vice President this would have never happened."
That statement put the onus squarely on LBJ. ;)

LBJ was of Jewish descent. He was informed after the decision was made but before JFK was killed.

Stevenson was anti-Israel. Israel would have to kill him too.

JFK was opposed to Israel having nukes. It is as simple as that. ;)
