What a terrible legacy. Yep, that one is still going. But, let's be fair. That thread is more like a a major speed bump on a four lane highway to irrelevant cesspool that has been zipping along full speed for awhile. Threads come and go. LP will return to flame wars, insults, back-biting and bickering beyond that one thread in no time.

Something very not right. Well, IF somebody did hack into LP, she can't log on with her password. Earlier in the day Goldi-Lox was posting over there. Either she ignored that massive thread, which is doubtful, or it wasn't Goldi posting earlier today but rather another person using her handle. Even Yukon has logged on under the name I'm Back, indicating that his handle is in the possession of another.

It's debatable as to whether or not that's the real yukon, or someone posing as him. No, I think things are a bit more complex than what appears on the surface.
Yes, this is true. But, I'm Back has the stoic, aloof and word choices of the ol' Yukon that are not generally imitated so well.

So technically nobody yukon account at LP at the moment. As I see it, Yukie fucked up big time, Embarrassed the hell outta mom, and now it's time for damage control.

She is often gone for several days.......and often when she's gone the site falls into the abyss. She also changes her e-mail more often than post due to "spam" or evading LP posters who have her address. Some are saying the site has been hacked and that she can't access her own account due to a password change. I wonder if Pinguinite could answer to the possibility of that happening?

At first I thought it was just yukko coming back to cause trouble (ie. I'm Back), and Gatlin and the rest of his crew were just taking his side. It would be a fairly decent cover to pretend that LP had been hacked, where Goldi herself were in on it to assist in the show. However, like I said last night on the "Yukon Drops the Soap" thread, I'm beginning to think it's a staged attack by some faction of the ClownPosse, where I'm beginning to doubt "I'm Back" is even yukon. That's leftover from the default install and ought to be removed, but obviously not my territory to deal with. I let the pinguinite.com domain expire. Actually Goldi and I have never met in person. When LP was being put together, she was no longer living in my area, and everything was done over the net and phone. So for that reason it's probably more accurate to say she was an associate. What we had in common was a belief in freedom and a stand against gov tyranny. But whatever she feels about that, it seems it takes a back seat to advocating for Israel.
I don't hang tooth and nail on that site, but best I recall she had an independent sysadmin, and now that I've checked, even has "report problems and questions to" disclaimer at the bottom of each thread, which leads to http://www.pinguinite.com/

Unfortunately, I wound up very camera shy when younger. By having a mother who was psychic, and living around indians who were certain that photographs captured part of your soul, I was afraid that someone would mess with me if they had my photo. (I think they were right, because psychics can pick up on your unique energy from a photograph.) I also had a bad experience (when young) with a "photographer" who took me into a very remote area, (playing to my vanity) and the only reason I believe I escaped alive was that my VW started to seriously act up...and he would have been stuck there too. I think that saved my life. Divine intervention? From that point, I avoided having ANY pictures taken. Except for my work badge, drivers license and passport, I am rarely in a photograph. The only one I have is the one taken in 2001 just prior to 911 in NY where I'm giving the finger to the UN. I don't think I have any of me when I was young, skinny, and cute. (Maybe one - sticking out my tongue and making a distorted face). I know I musta been cute, because I had tons of guys asking me out all the time - and they were VERY nice looking guys.) It seemed like - for years - that cameras were hounding me. For example, I went to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore with a friend, and our picture at the table wound up on the front page of the "Style" section featuring the ambiance of the Harbor. So, it got to be almost an obsession with me to avoid them. I also wound up several times on tv newscast in background shots. Drove me nuts! Made me really avoid cameras more! [When I was in the Perot campaign, I was constantly working my way to the area behind the cameramen at every public event. They only got me on camera once.] I was often told that I looked like: Mary Tyler Moore, Jacqueline Smith, and Liza Minelli. (Depending on my hairstyle it seems). All when in their prime and me in mine. Now I'm older, and my pigment seems to have gone, and my hair is much lighter with grey, so I bleach it blonde. So, I don't resemble any of them any longer. It would prolly be the same crew who forced Clown Posse to close their doors. Or at least a few of the Toakers who showed back up at LP recently, might know something about what is going on. Think about who posted at CP, Toakers, LP and has a history of playing games. Who would that be? There is someone, at LP, who has a long history of harassing people, and taking over websites. And the person did not originate at FR- but a totally different site. This person is very good at having numerous ISPs, from around the country ( so to keep mods and owners very confused about who they are), and sock puppet accounts to harass people with, and is very good at cyber stalking (making threats with lawyers and what not) and other tom foolery. And has done this before at a site not at all associated with FR or it's offspins. If it is as simple as what is being presented, that Goldi- is covering up for yukon- that seems illogical to me. Gatlin- the previous banned poster, seems to have every confidence that he is going to take over the site. I wonder who the Gatlin poster is friends with- who might have helped him with a take over- and why he is being so confident, in such a short time after Goldi's *shut out* or death? Or was it planned for a long time? Or is it just a comedy sketch? And- my prayers for Goldi- whatever happened to her. It is sad that someone,who contributed to our posting entertainment for so many years (like her or not)- may have died- and all anyone seems to care about is the three ring circus of yukon being gay. I do too, although I recognize that the probability that these folks will wake up some day to the good in treating one another with a minimum of courtesy is vanishingly small. I don't believe however that that these sites breed the very worst in human nature. Although I haven't seen the worst om human nature, I have heard tell about the most bestial types of behavior of man toward his fellows from actors who have seen it first hand. I'd offer you some examples at this point, but I don't want to ruin your morning or mine. Suffice it to say that human beings are capable of doing things that, if you witnessed them yourself, you'd be fit to disgorge. It's worthy to note that while most men are capable of the worst under certain circumstances, the majority of them won't volunteer their services unless they are under contract, and won't club, butcher or shoot other people to death unless they are properly paid. I believe that most of the posters that post regularly on that other site (and a certain number that post here as well) would gladly sign up for that kind of duty in return for a decent monthly check plus benefits.
